For low spec gamers out there, I do not fulfill the minimum GPU reqs ( GTX 750 ) and yet, with little sacrifices, the game works flawlessly. A really well optimised title, which is a rarity nowadays.

Game works fluidly, mechanics are easy to learn and I didn't notice any kind of disprecancies between what I expected to occur and what I did expect.

Tools are fun and gameplay loop feels rewarding :D Cannot wait for the full game.

TL;DR
Game's short but great and intense. Loved it, if you like old style shooters focused on story, you'd love this.

Generally this is really laser-focused on story shooter with well defined shooting mechanism and dynamic gameplay. No drag, no unnecessary slowdowns. When I played I felt a constant pull to go a little further, see a little more, get the story to move further etc.

Mechanically, even though the game is kinda old, I don't have anything to accuse it of. Mechanics are clear as a day and work flawlessly, without throwing you out of immersion or gameplay. Game doesn't feel clunky - actually it's opposite, it's smooth af.

Setting is set with communist aesthetic and I love it. Graphics may be a little dated and if you need crisp, 4k textures...you wouldn't be here, now would you? So yeah, it looks good and the only piece of world I felt dateg graphics were character models to be honest.

Overall, again, feels good, looks nice enough and damn does it pull you into it's story.

The game where everything was done right

Yep. I'm hitting it off with a bing bang. I am honest in my reviews, and this title really deserves praise.

tl;dr : The devs are working with actually achievable targets, the game is more-or-less polished, stable as ♥♥♥♥ and fun to play.

So, for the rest of the review!

Demo
In short - the demo shows the game as-is and gives you enough time to recognize whether you like the game or not, without sweetening or other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The demo version of this game can easily give you a few hours of fun itself - and good! I admit I often use...less official means of trying the games out due to either giving the sweetest part of game as demo, making demo too short to feel anything with the game or not giving demo version at all. This isn't the case for this game. It's literally raw gameplay - the same gameplay you're going to experience in full game - just locked to only few first stages of "planet crafting". Also, your save transfers to full version <3

Gameplay
In short - The game is single-player first person sci-fi base building game with added flavor of terraforming the planet and nice effects and building unlocks tied to progress.

So, the gameloop looks like that - you build some machines that add to terraformation index, you unlock new machines during progress and replace old ones or build new ones, reach the target of next terraformation stage and the loop starts again. And it's really fine. I had problems stopping ( Lost some sleep ;-; ). It's simple, yet incredibly fun formula for a game.
But at the same time you need to survive, keeping your food, water and oxygen levels in check. At first it will be a little pain in the ass because you'd have to scavenge food. Easier with water, even easier with oxygen.

Also, the progress touches your character too - there are upgrades unlocked with new buildings and sometimes on it's own.

Graphics and the world
In short - Graphics in this game don't blast your ass off, but aren't hurting eyes either - they just...are. But they fit the atmoshpere and make beautiful landscapes, so in the end they are kinda good.

The world of the game is handcrafted and frankly, quite interesting and sometimes even a little intimidating and breathtaking. My personal opinion - i love it. Also, the world itself changes around you as you progress with your terraformation quite literally breathing new life around you.

The graphic style is quite simplistic, maybe even a little bit boxxy, but even with that it fits the game overall atmosphere and allows it to work even on older machines, and that's with all the things happening in the background. Hell, I'd say it even has some charm of it's own.

Bugs, crashes, optimization
In short - No problems whatsoever. Mountain ranges aren't really 1:1 with model vs. hitbox and very rarely some minerals glitch out, but in my whole game I had only one mineral glitch so yeah.

So, optimization. This game literally changes the whole world around you as you progress, adds new things and allows you to even add some of your own. Really, there's so much stuff hapenning constantly in the background...
And you feel almost none of it. No stutters. No lags. No freezes. Nothing.
Also, the game never crashed on me. No memory leaks - played it long enough in one session that if it were to happen, I'd feel it.
The only bug I found is sometimes minerals can glitch - either through the floor or stay in place but have awkwardly placed hitboxes - to the point you can't harvest them. But that's it - the first one you don't notice, the second one...I had it happen only once. Literally once during my game.

Rating

8/10

The game is great, devs have realistic goals, it plays smoothly and there's no scam going on in the background. It's literally what you see is what you get. And all I see is really well crafted game with proper devs.

I love this game. Trust me, I do. But I cannot say I recommend it. The devs behind this title left it in state of disrepair and lack of content after starving it for around a year. The game, right now, can be fun, sure. But it didn't really tap into it's potential, and is bugged as hell.
Just so you know. After lack of updates for around a year, they pushed a fix to few bugs and called it done.
Great game, I love it, DON'T BUY IT.

A lil' more advanced rant:
Keen Software House decided that mobile apps tactic is more worthwile than making good games. They abandoned Medieval Engineers after ignoring it for long time and started to turn another title, Space Engineers, into Paradox-like DLC spam. Funfact, they planned on abandoning SE too, but DLC sells.
About Medieval engineers, the game was basically ♥♥♥♥ at start. Then they hired one person, who lead the ME team to the glory - overhauled many aspects of the game, made it enjoyable, fun. And then, goodbye, guy left KSH. From that moment, updates slowed to a halt and then died with excuse of preparing Space Engineers of xbox. Fast forward one year and KSH shown the biggest middle finger I ever seen by fixing four bugs and pushing the game out of Eearly Access. Shame, really.

TLDR;
This game is quite fun, but at the same time heavily centered around multiplayer/coop and shipbuilding. If you like either of them, I can more or less say you will like this game.

Long, but detailed version:
What is this game?
Interstellar Rift (or IsR for short) is a spacesim game located in <heree should be lore>. Anyway, there are four factions and lots of systems. Game is mostly centered around player and faction interaction and shipbuilding, with the biggest feature being quite advanced and fun ship designer.

Ship building
Ship building in this game is a fun process if you can get accustomed to editor. Which isn't really a hard thing. Instead of Space Engineers/Empyrion like block-by-block building in first person, you create blueprints in third person, so it is more of being an architect than actually building the damn thing by yourself. Also, opposed to the aforementioned games, here you actually have things to put inside, various systems, wall coverings, lights and the like. Generally, shipbuilding itself is really fun and rewarding IMO.

Servers
Aaand here we go with negatives. Even though devs do their best, the server sometimes behave...wanky. Cases of missing ships or drones, desync or two and the like. Although lately these cases seems almost non-existent.

Performence
Now, this is a great thing. My PC is kinda old and has problems with surprisingly big amount of games, yet this works quite well. The game is well optimized and until you want to fly a behemoth it should be running smooth.

Player count
And here is the big problem. Game has very low player count, and as I mentioned above it is centered about multiplayer. If you don't have friends with wchich you can hang out, but you really, really badly want to fly a ship with more than one crewmember you may feel dissapointed.

Other things to do
To be honest, you can do quite much. Build your own station, build facation stations, kill space aliens (well, one race. Ship-like race.), kill space pirates, kill other players (only on PvP servers), destroy ships, destroy stations, trade the hell out of the world, mine the hell out of the world, manufacture resources, build bigger and better ships, have fun with ship designer, get pirated and bullied, lose ♥♥♥♥, find ♥♥♥♥...

Summary
This game is actually really fun, and it sucked me in for quite a long time but for it to blossom, it needs players. It needs You! <insert uncle Sam poster>
I can and will recommend this game for everyone. It is just a good game.

At first glance some little funny fps.
And that's basicly that. Guns are not cheap if you want them forever, but once in a while theres a big discount, not even mentioning that if you actually like the game itself, you will have steady stream of temporary guns and make money rather fast.
And I am impatient about that in fps games, so that's something.
Overall, 7/10. Just a decent, fun to play game.

Well, You want ot know what is this game?
Can't tell you much else than "Well, it was fun once, because I managed to find a match only once..."

Generally, this game is really fun when You actually get to play it and just because of that you should think of not buying it if you want to play alone. Grab some friends, do this game a favor and play it with them ^^
If You are not sure how good this game is, look at this review section. There is mass of people with just 1 review, people who literally decided to write this game review just to get it at least a little recognition, because this game deserves it.
For me? This game is good as long as you have people to play it. Rating: foreveralone/10

Ok, creativerse. Looks like minecraft ripoff with lego duplo graphics. And to be honest...

This game is basicly minecraft as long as it goes for terraforming or building morphed with Your Generic aRPG Game (TM). Honestly thou, the effect is quite amazing. Doubly so looking at fact, that the game is free to play. There is in-game shop but from what I know it's mostly filled up with fashion junk and quality of life things, like more inventory space. Nothing game-breaking, but for lazy people still good thing to have.

Okay, everything's fine but why would You want to play it? So, do You know minecraft redstone? Quite amazing thing letting you make even working computers inside a game if you have a major in electronics or whatever. In this game, you have electronic systems too, but way more accesible for newbies. Sensors, flip-flops, inverse - everything neatly packed with a description. Also, fight is arguably better than in minecraft, and graphics are way better than vanilla minecraft.

But nothing is perfect, and this game is not an exception. Things I observed which are bad are poor performance and dead community. I mean, at least if we talk about european server - most of them is dead. Good thing this game is still good in single-player, and also allows for setting your own servers up quite easily, so You can just play with friends.

Well... I would give it 7/10. It's good, well made and fun game, but nothing earthbreaking. If you just want to be able to build a big, fat coc...katrice or maybe low sci-fi base, go on. This game is for You.

Ok, so long story short, here is my opinion.

This game was epic. Balanced, fun, creative. Now it's spray'n'pray only. How to win? Follow me in this short guide showing the true fall of the game!

1) Buy armor blocks/spam lowest level weapons
2) Is it tanky and have enough lasers? If no, go to point 1. Else, go to point 3. ( The answer to second part is always no...)
3) Get into battle and fight hundreds of your clones.

Really, that's it. At least from my point of view.

Hazard Ops

A teraz krótko o trybach gry.
