Update: Resolved the bug by changing my default audio device from a USB audio device to my monitor's speakers. I can finally play the game. And it's great.

Previous Issue:

Game has some laggy menus which take 10-30 seconds between menu transitions to load currently and doesn't support a majority of hotas setups. I usually don't buy games day one and this will be another lesson to learn.

If I knew any better I would wait for the game to be patched up before purchasing.

Game itself is great though, but I can't really determine how good the game is when I spend a majority of my time transitioning between menus to play the next mission due to the menu bug. Wish my current X-55 would work with the game, but I think it would be possible to map the hotas buttons to keyboard keys and mouse input. Not really going to find out until the menu bug is resolved. Extremely frustrating bug.
