This is a bizarre combo of Minecraft and Dark souls + physics, and the setting is the viking afterlife.

Its fun, but its in early access and the team of developers is only 5 people, and it took them 3 years to get here.
So i dont expect it to change much. I expect new biomes, mobs, bosses and items, but the core will likely stay unchanged.

Its a good core so i recommend it!

I would say if you get this on sale you are in for a good time :)
If you love the setting then a full price is also good.

Back when I reviewed for the first time it was a mess, of over promised features that wasn't there and bugs all over.
The bugs are minor now, but I still experinced several. (but not immersion breaking as before, only had to reload saves twice because the game questline bugged out)
Major drops in framerate still happen and if you play several hours you will need to restart/reload your game, because framerate will drop down over time...

The features are more and now what is there is much more polished so its enjoyable.

I would recommend it if it wasnt for the major oversell in the sales department, with outright lies.
The whole experience with this game is a mixed bag. Never got that big overhaul it needed.

Its just not what was promised, its a linear shooter with addons, it is not very immersive in its current state.

Lets see what happens going forward, if they give it a little overhaul and make it amazing, it still have great potential!

This is a black hole, that takes hours from your life.

I enjoy being near it.

Its counter strike, its the best competitive shooter.

Honestly "mehhh" start, but once i got into it, it's the metro game i loved just different, personally not fan of the open world.

If you liked the 2 previous metro games 2033 and last light, chances are you will enjoy this.

Fantastic mix of bullethell and dark souls, with amazing soundtrack!
Super sharp combat, you will "die" and a lovely unique artstyle.
