A really fun space marine romp. Don't expect a deep combat system but what's there is gooshy and satisfying. Paint the world red with ork guts.

The story isn't going to win any awards but it serves it's purpose to lubricate the gameplay and by the end of the game I did find myself endeared to the characters.

What I didn't expect was to have a pretty steady set of weapon unlocks and upgrades. Nothing mind-blowing but a nice reward to keep pressing forward.

The jetpack sequences are a nice change of pace.

That all being said the game can sometimes feel pretty repetitive. It has some really great variety and unique ideas, but those ideas feel a bit stretched thin.

That's really saying something considering my campaign playthrough on normal was about 7 hours.

Given that the multiplayer is dead (can't find a single game) I'd definitely recommend grabbing this on sale.

Overall a quality product and I'm happy with the time I've spent with it. Excited for the sequel.

If you're a fan of 40k and have nostalgia for 2010 Xbox 360 era games I think you'll enjoy this the most.

Bring on space marine 2!
