Yes. End of Story. Yes

Yes spite all the complaining, this is hands down my favorite fighting franchise of all time.

I used proxy chat to ask someone to hold the elevator. Another raider (Toasty) I couldn't see calls "Yo, dude hold on, don't trust that guy, I've been watching him kill people for a while and no one would believe me". Not 5 seconds later a bombardier starts firing close to the elevator and takes the betrayer out. Me and toasty extract because we both have to go to work.

There are normal stories in this game. Yes it's worth it.

1) Not a souls-like - reminds me more of Resident Evil
2) Yes, enemies aren't too varied, but the situations you're placed in change combat up enough
3) Asks you to slow down and think - feels great when you figure out a puzzle or combination
4) Brilliant level design. Not just how levels open up, but environmental details pop up in innovative ways (like moss growing in areas where water leaks through
5) Not shy on violence - and I mean uncomfortable trigger warning violence. Be wary if sensitive

I had a great group and finished our first run in 40 minutes. The moment I thought it was getting stale, it kept escalating. By the last 2 depths I was screaming "WTF IS GOING ON!?" out loud. It's like playing a 4 man D2 raid but in a Lovecraft setting. Insane. Buy it.

Come back to this game in about 3 months or so once they get themselves sorted.

My favorite MH in years and we know the support will keep on coming.

Writing this as a major fan of player action titles - if you get bored with combat quickly you may want to set your expectations. While the move set with a bow has plenty of mods based on build, armor, and use of magic - the moment to moment feels stale with the repetition of the primary attacks. While it doesn't make sense for the lore, the game could have benefited from at least a few new weapons.

Yeah, it's good but it's not that good. These romantic reviews feel a bit confusing. Especially when weighed against so many other action focused titles. I was exhausted with the game by the end. Much prefer Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden....or you know Astro Bot ;)

I dig it. Not complicated. Catharsis is strong. It's a looter shooter.

Saw this via Twitter and got curious. Best investment of the year and I love the way this game feels. Bit of Dead Cells mixed with it's own unique twists. Loving it.
