The netcode has taken such a huge step back. I have never had such horrible rubber banding back to death from behind cover in a long time.

The subtick system does not work. It is broken. It continues to remain broken. Put back the original netcode. Don't touch the netcode again. Just leave it alone.

Dont be fooled by the tags: "Indie" and "Roguelite". This is one of the few great indie games out there worth your time.

Go download the free arena addon to get an idea of the gameplay and controls. From there you will know if you would like a campaign loop you can play through over and over again with different classes and loadouts.

For every million walking simulators and pixel art 2D platformer/metroidvania clones that clog up steam, you get one great indie game.

The demo version offers several game modes and a portion of the main game (legion rising) to try out if you are on the fence as to what you would wish to purchase. Regardless, the developers deserve your money.

If you are in the mood for a farcry style game but in an urban setting this is basically it. The gameplay does a few things different: crysis weapon customization, equipment crafting, urban mazes (in substitute to tower climbing) to name a few. It also looks and runs superb. The music is great and sets the tone of the world. The multiplayer is coop missions, which is quite fun in its own right. The population is basically dead and requires joining a steam group to setup games.

For all the farcrys and clones I have played, its probably the only one I bothered to finish besides far cry 2 and blood dragon. When it is on sale I would buy it.

This game is built around the design concept of games requiring a brain. Nothing will hold your hand. Nobody will give you a tutorial of what to do. Its design comes from a bygone era, when videogames were about pushing boundaries instead of treating you like a 5 year old.

Of the three stalker games, its the most refined in mechanics and story. Of the three stalker games it has the best freeplay mod "Call of Chernobyl". You would have already made your decision on buying these games or not even before reading this review, because people that like these sort of games don't read steam reviews they just buy and play the game.

If you ever played Mario Kart, imagine when they introduced snaking in Mario 64 and thus requiring you to spam it to even compete. Replace that with spinning and swinging a weapon at the same time.

Mordhau basically took over what this game could have been. Do not buy this. Do not buy Chivalry 2. Buy Mordhau and be done with it.
