Severe consistent nerfs with exorbitant respec costs makes it better to stay away for now, at least stay away from endgame.
Though I do enjoy the game a lot.

scuffed sims

gameplay is super repetitive, "your grace i need food or gold for my village" ad infinitum with the one actual important thing thrown in
movement is clunky and slow
dialogue choices don't matter past the character saying them (and usually saying something very different)
and it's annoying that the daughters fight but you can't do anything about it really

I followed and played this game back when it was in beta and on indiedb back when I was a teenager and bought it the instant I could
Now it's like a decade later and I was playing it a bit again and seeing how much changed since I had last played
I haven't left a review until now and I have to say that I really really like this game and that's it's kinda like a spelunky+ in some ways

this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool
