This game is such a welcome change from the slew of great but predictable games coming out these days. Between waiting for the new POE2 patch, the full release of Tarkov, Ball x Pit, and the BF6 beta, I needed something new. This game came up as a random Steam recommendation and I thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did.

Cast n' Chill brings something new and fresh to the table. Even if you love tense, hardcore games, sometimes you need to CHILL, CnC delivers in a big way. The pixel art is fantastic and elicits vibes from a different time when life (and gaming) was simpler. The music is soothing and sets the perfect tone. The gameplay is brilliant and addicting. Who would have guessed that a scrappy brown trout trying to rip the line off my 16-bit pole, or landing a trophy-worthy smallmouth bass, was exactly what I needed at the end of a long workday.

Give this game a try. You won't regret it!

If you love FPS games and want to see what you're really made of, accept nothing less. This is the game for you.

Original games released by small developers are why I love Steam. Mordhau fits the bill, and the developers highly responsive to the community.
