IGN doesn't know what the fondue they're talking about, this game's a banger.

Unplayable.
The camera sensitivity is way too high and the first boss is an impossible difficulty spike.
(Edit: This review was made before the patch where this issue was apparently fixed. I have yet to try the game after the patch because I already refunded the game.)

I'm sorry.
The game is good, and I do enjoy playing it.
But the problem is, AI was used in some parts of this game.
And this information was not made clear on the store page.
So even though I do enjoy the game and may continue to play it, I cannot in good conscious recommend it to other people any more.
Only buy if you feel the AI use was minor enough to be acceptable.

Fun game, but terrible default control scheme.
The default keyboard/mouse control scheme is so bad.
So, I tinkered around and found a controller/mouse setup I like.
Once you tinker with it, it's not so bad.

But I do have one major complaint.

Transfering is bad and needs to be fixed.
WHY does playing across different devices remove all your Arcana Gems? That's so stupid.

It's actually so stupid that I cant just use the same account across different devices without losing all my arcana gems.
What kind of MMO doesn't have cloud saving???

I have legitimately played MMOs from teeny tiny indie devs with crossplay between all 3 of my PCs and my phone, and that one doesn't take away your premium currency when switching between devices. All progress is tied to your account, not your device.
Why can't this game be like that?
You can't tell me "because of pricing differences" when other games have already figured out how to do it.

Please, please, please, please, PLEASE fix this, and just add the same standard cloud save system that literally every other MMO on earth has...

A great first impression, but at one point the controls did glitch up and freeze the character in place.

Good game, but remove the AI voices and hire real voice actors. Then I will reinstall.

Tunic is fantastic, but it's one of those "where the f**k do I go?" kinda games.
You gotta *really* keep your eyes peeled for that one obscure pathway to your next goal that you probably walked past like 50 times cuz it's hidden too well right in plain sight.
But other than that, it's a solid "Zelda Souls"-like game.

This game is what Morrowind wishes it was.

Sonic Rumble is fun, but I think some skins are overpriced, $46 just for Shadow in a hoodie is crazy. And why can't you customize the avatars at all? Avatar characters are in the game, but they're all separate characters. The point of an avatar in a game is to customize it and make it your own.
I like the game, I just think these two issues need some serious fixing.
