As a player of Battlefront 2004 and 2005, I enjoyed the game a lot upon first playing. It has some very good qualities to it. It requires EA launcher though which causes a multitude of problems like frequent disconnects, crashes, and error messages. (I personally can't even upgrade a ability without an error message booting me out), the EA launcher is most likely the biggest problem for the game as a whole.

Online felt good for the first few matches, then began to immediately feel unfair. With players who simply have more unlocked than you, having access to better weapons, being able to deal more damage, heal faster. And there's absolutely zero way around it other than to grind for the abilities and weapons yourself. It makes the game seem less reliant on skill and gameplay and moreso on "how stacked is his loadout?"

All of this is without even mentioning the atrocious balancing, with many of the lightsaber users if they equip the right perks for their abilities they're virtually unkillable. Being able to kill you in one hit, be it by Grevious crawling through your team with reinforced armor shredding everyone who dares to have simply existed there, or a Darth Vader with a million health walking down your entire team. Even without builds lightsaber users are ridiculously strong, to the point where when you see one you just kinda have to accept death as they approach faster than you can run away with their insta-kill tool

And you can't run from them either, they all have better mobility than you and it drains the fun out of the game real quick when it goes from "Let's team up to beat General Grievous!" to "oh let's watch him crawl at us again with a ton of damage reduction and kill us all in one hit"

While the game isn't technically "pay to win" it still feels like a pay to win game, and it sucks the joy out of you the exact same way.

in my honest opinion instant action (singleplayer) is enjoyable but not enough to make up for the atrocious online scene and constant errors. Worth buying only because it was $4

Honestly, this game is PEAK. Incredible mix of horror and fun that makes the game very VERY addictive, plenty of cool customization options, several perk trees to match your specific style of play. Multiplayer compatible with up to 4 people, with hype plays and funny moments galore. Interesting enemies and game mechanics, very responsive controls, and amazing audio design coupled with incredible graphics. Cool lobby minigames and plenty of gamemodes, challenges, and difficulties to accommodate new players and experienced ones.

This game is also surprisingly replayable, with each map/level coming with it's own unique challenge and goal. There's always something to laugh at or be scared of and at this level of quality? It simply can't be beat

I don't play solo so I can't speak on how the solo experience is, but if you love Outlast or Dead By Daylight chances are this is the game for you. Get some friends or dive in solo for some scares and laughs

(You can throw bottles, bricks, and bombs at the killers) 11/10 game
