The game is great...

...if it wasn't for all the bugs and mainly, the fact that you are sent to whatever server EA sees fit.
"Oh you play from Germany? Have fun playing in Taiwan!"

The ping is unbearable so often.
One game you have perfect hits and down an enemy with three shots in well below a second,
the next game you hit them three times with a shotgun point blank, and get downed by the same enemy, using a pistol...

Then the bugs...

"Playing on PC? Too bad you don't have a mouse anymore?"

Have fun using the UI when EA belives you don't have a mouse, or when you occasionally can't aim left or right anymore.

Honestly, the first 12 hours were pure bliss.
You found other Raiders and you helped each other.

Now since a bit over a week every single round you find people killing you for no other reason than killing you. I lost so much good loot for literally no reason.

You ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the match making for every person that bought that game because of the stellar press!

I hate it!

For the forseeable future I wil not play this game anymore...

Choke on your PVP ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

In the beginning Siege was awesome.
Distinct characters, proper marketing for those characters.
Great gameplay.
Superior teamwork.

WAS...

Later it was a on and off update design.
A "Health Update" that would fix almost everything wrong with the game.
A normal update, that would reintroduce every bug that was fixed.

Siege is being killed in a big and empty room, while you were whatching your back, and in the kill cam you find out, that someone was right behind you the entire time, AND you were looking right into their face before walking away casually before they shoot you.

Siege is buying a new character because they are overpowered, so that they are now underpowered three updates later.

Siege is getting shot through five walls by someone smurfing, who watches through bulletholes.

Siege was the last Ubisoft title I will ever play.

Far to grind for an idle game.
And there is no idle anything unless you grind for at least 5min EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Just boring

At first, the ending felt really wrong to me, and I intendet to just not finish the game.
The moles added a stressful extra that didn't fit at all with the rest of the game at all.

I also believe that the game needs at least one more tier of items, as if you just mine all of it and take your time, you reach max tier on everthing before you reach your first mine shaft .
It also doesn't feel right, that you lose everything, if the battery runs out while you are still on the surface.

As someone else suggested an endless mode would be perfect. I can already imagine how it could work:
One of the first things would be a pickaxe, that can break the rocks, instead of using dynamite, as the rocks become the main ground (maybe around the mark of the first mineshaft) from then on you find new ores (like iron and copper. Another rebalance).
The drill could come in past a third mineshaft, and is eventually replaced by an impact drill. By that time the main ground could be lava rock. That could add another upgrade option: The suit.
By that time you could add just different ores, hotter magma rocks, a next tier of upgrades, and space everything further and further.
I will tell you, I will play the game for hundreds of hours then!
Make it a DLC, people will buy it!
(add prestige to skip some spacing out, and you are golden (as my shovel)

I don't know....
I was looking for a chill game to play while watching YT on the side, or generally just wind down to.
The first missions fit the criteria rather well, and it felt good!
Paint some walls, lay some tiles...

But later on it felt just too much like a chore.
First you need to fix an outlet that is hidden behind furniture, next you need to install a radiator, that now blocks where the sofa was sitting.
And finally I have an open room I somehow need to place so much stuff into, that it's hardd to figure out what makes sense!
Sure I could just dump all the furniture in it like a madman, but it just feels wrong.
Not I had a mission were you have to build a sauna.
Nothing wring with that, but I somehow have to fit so much stuff into it, it just simply does not fit!

It's no fun to abort missions because it's no longer fun, or doesn't make sense.

And considering what the game looked like it was, and what I got it for, later on it just failed to do that.

I can't recommend a game that makes you feel like you are doing stuff wrong for no good reason.
And being forced to place X amount of furniture into a room that is either far too big, or far too small makes me just feel like I failed to place it right.

Overall this game feels like Factorio with a 3D aspect, that requires work to work around.
While having the option to build you factory into the sky, there are more downsides than benefits.

While being similar to Satisfactory, progress is too slow, and building is too tedious.

Most of what you do feels pointless, and wiith no goal to fulfill, while the game gives you baby step objectives to fulfill.

In addition, often the 3D aspect feels like an obstacle you somehow have to work around, more than giving you extra options. While games like factorio offer easy solutions to bypass an obstacle, it's rather tedious to work around it with ramps (At least so far).

And finally: Tha game has an Auto-Climb feature, for the more Minecrafty world, which allowes you to just walk up sinngle blocks in elevation. If disabled, you can't even walk over a belt, 15% of the block's height...
