Fun game to mess around on. more than worth the money if you value games at a dollar per hour

Its really hard to recommend this game in its current state. the visual bugs are pretty jarring and after ~23 hours i ran into a crash loop of starting the game and trying to get a quest done and it would crash. Optimization is also quite questionable at the moment as well. running a 1080 and a 8700k its struggling to pull 50fps at 1440p and 70-80ish at 1080p with everything at low/off to medium settings

Dont get me wrong the game is fun and if you can deal with the problems by all means but if i can sum everything up in 1 word i would say "Wait"

If steam had a maybe option for recommend i would choose that but in my current experience I cant really recommended it right now

Pretty fun game although the campaign is a bit short at the moment if more is to be planned. Some of the missions will really test your creativity and critical thinking skills to complete them 100%. sandbox is good for just experimenting or just blowing off some steam but I rarely touched it so far. Not sure if its a optimization thing but I also feel like this game will bring most systems to their knees with enough pixels/blocks dislodging themselves as you ram a vehicle into a building or cause a massive explosion so expect frame drops as of now.

All in all its a cool little game that will kill time. I enjoyed my time with it so far.

I'm not one for reviews but this is a beautiful game. I played Red Dead Redemption on the 360 back then and loved it so I had massive expectations for this game and its more that surpassed those expectations. The story is very well told and the characters are easy to feel connected to.

The only cons I have with the game is that its extremely demanding in the graphics department but you get 2 hours to tweak until you figure out if you can run it or not.

I have not put much time into Red Dead Online so I cannot comment there but I'm sure mods would help that down the line.

Its so easy to fall into this game that its basically a steal for 47 USD at the time of posting this.

Bought the game years ago and saw they were releasing on steam and giving players that bought it years ago a steam key so I did what others did and redeemed my key. its too bad really, I haven't been able to get past the splash screen of the game. if i knew I wouldn't be able to play I would have sold my key to someone.

since I cannot play the game and the devs have released no information on what is causing the problem or possibly a solution I cannot recommend this game

for anyone assuming, I'm on windows 10 not 7 and my system checks all boxes on the recommended system requirements so I don't understand

-drifting seems floaty for a game claiming to be a sim
-multiplayer is like a ghost town
-single player experience is just you playing with ghost cars
-cars feel like they are being push started when you accelerate from a complete stop

puts me on tilt everytime.

10/10 would die again

lets you fist fight large lizard monster things. 10/10
