Slight issue on Operaton 40 on Veteran, whilst sliding down the cliff to assualt Castro's compound, you can get shot whilst locked into a animation, leading you to die and not being able to prevent it.

The Numbers had a small issue where Clark seemingly teleported outside of the map, causing a softlock, needing the level to be played from the begining again as the last checkpoint didn't fix this issue.

Overall, it's an amazing game with a well thought out campain (story-wise), and a beautiful selection of unique zomibes maps. However, for the price and the risks that can be presented to your computer due to it's RCE issues, it's not a viable purchase at all.

Save your money, or sale the sea's if you really want to play it.

If it was given more time to cook back in 2008 before releasing, I reckon it could have been one of, if not the greatest Black Box era of Need For Speeds, right next to Most Wanted and Carbon. It's a shame.

Cheesy story, good and under detailed map, good car roster for the time, most arcade like handling when compared to Most Wanted and Carbon. Shame it's de-listed now.

It's October 2025, and it's been 2 years since CS2 replace GO. We still don't have:

STILL NO OPERATION.

They recently released two maps that were made by the community, one of which has a few easter eggs of contained copyrighted content, and a racist variable name for one of the in game entities. The other was a map of which allowed you to get outside of it's playable bounds within 10 seconds of the match. In both of these cases, it would have taken not more then 10 minutes to check these maps to see if there were any issues.

It is clear at this point that CS2 has been put on the back burner in terms of development, and that this game is nothing more than a cash cow for Valve to milk. Any update they release, is pretty much all work done by the community. They grab whats most popular, and shove it in the game without double checking.

Any and every bug that was present on the legacy version is still here. Nothing has been patched.

All Rockstar has managed to do was add content that has been in the console version of the games for ages, and add a optional subscription whilst removing the public game chat.

It took 9 years for a anti-cheat.

At the time of this review, for $80-ish dollars, you get:
- Broken, crackling audio, which has been issue that has been complained about multiple times.
- Possible RCE exploits.
- Always forced to play online.
- Loot boxes galore.
- FPS cap limited to 91 FPS.

*Broken, crackling audio:* I have tried running the game in all view port modes, from window borderless, fullscreen etc. I have turned of V-sync. Anything anyone has suggested does nothing to fix the issue.

*FPS cap limited to 91 FPS:* Apparently, this is something to do with the issue of having higher frame rates causing de-sync between you and other players, which is sad that they haven't fixed it, yet Black Ops 3, which came out a year before, it was fixed.

*Always forced to play online:* Why? It's bad enough interacting with items and playing zombies in general, why make me constantly need to stay online, why not give me the option to play offline? again other previous entries have. If you can't connect online, you don't get to play the game you payed for. What happens when the servers get shutdown, is all my progress going to be gone?

At this point I have not touched the campaign, but reading through other reviews seems to suggest that it has it's own problems as well, including one preventing you from advancing in the game at all.

For multiplayer, what multiplayer? The games player base is dead, and even then there would mostly be a large amount of hackers even if there were people playing it.

I have actually never played a COD zombies game where I have had so much trouble interacting with items. This can range anywhere from picking up a quest item that is needed to complete a Easter egg, or something such as playing the mini-games in Zombies in Spaceland, there's always been a random delay between your interactions.

Save your self the time and money your going to waste, if you looking for a good round based COD zombies game, go buy Black Ops 3 with Zombie Chronicles. Even as that game still has certain issues, it's nothing compared to this game.

You know it's worth $60 when it crashes as you go to quit the game lmao
