I had more crashes/errors/blue screens/other issues than player encounters.

Honest review of an (nearly) 15 year player

Game has come a long way. SInce very first CS up to this point. Current trends actually killed this game for good. I don't think I will ever come back to it. I can't imagine going F2P on this game is a good idea purely because of cheaters and scummy players. Matchmaking is awful as is thus i see no reason to TRY to have fun playing. Battle royale? I am waiting for new Need for Speed to have that gamemode too (kappa). I don't know, I am honestly disappointed, once again by this game. Best FPS ever made has actually hit rock bottom by not being itself anymore

I can see that people who have the same opinion as me are usually more experienced, whereas people that are basically new and have under 2 years of playtime would just be toxic and be part of this /perfect cancer-free/ community. Shame, but I like the discussion.
Also, having a blast reading "this game is not 15 years old"

CS2 released, things changed, this review is outdated

Okay, let's run through some issues, they are mostly here since early beta (!)
- Despite 60k+ players, queue times are absurd, takes over 15 mins to find a game.
- Devs don't know their game, they change things based on "dawg, this will be sooo coooool"
- Non existing game balance
- Power role is reversed, you will find out after reaching red ranks as killer
- SWF is literally cheating in this game, it is not designed for communication
- Object of obsession is literally cheating
- Some addons straight up make some characters borderline OP, yet some make no sense and actually make them worse
- Maps not optimized, some borderline OP for survivors, some borderline OP for killers
- 3 kills, 30k bp, getting bullied but still manage - entity displeased - we all have been there
- Anticheat is OK at its best
- Devs deaf for community suggestions/reports, you know, game is not for players, it is for devs (?)
- Sound bugs/issues/inconsistencies, this game heavily depends on sound, guess what happens when it's broken
- Outdated ideas that never worked and probably will never work as intended, ie hatch, old killers
- Emblem system is poorly designed
So they did a pretty good job so far.
