Bitcraft is unique and has a ton of potential to grow into an amazing MMO. As of writing this, the first week of the Early Access has passed and I felt inclined to leave a review, partially because the negative reviews the game received at the start does not give it an accurate representation of how the player base actually feels about the game.

There are still a lot of flaws in the current gameplay loop. The grind curve grows way too steep after Tier 3 and 4 since you need materials of previous tiers to make a higher tier, which grows exponentially. As the game is still in its early days, people generally keep their materials for themselves, which makes the market stagnant (I think the exponential increase in material requirements also play a role in this). Also, some professions are incredibly tedious (especially hunting) and take a lot more time to level up than others. The game advertised the importance of collaboration and said to require people to only delve into specific professions. However, due to the current state of the game, players in settlements often need to specialize in 5+ different professions as it is otherwise impossible to progress (quickly). In conclusion, the game is still searching for its balance.

Still, the game is very enjoyable to play right now. The community is amazing, and the overall look of the game is fantastic. There is already tons of items to grind for in the game (think about pets, cosmetics, mounts) and the gameplay is fun. Not to forget, the speed of patch notes the team is bringing out gives me a lot of hope for the future. The server problems at launch were finished in a day. I have not had any server issues yet.

If you are hesitating on buying it, the price tag is definitely worth it. I recommend trying it and supporting the developers, they are brewing something good up there.

Right now i have played around 20 hours on it and I'm still enjoying it! If you just want to relieve some stress, just play this game. It certainly helps. The fairness between Man and Dino is in favor of Man. It depends if YOU like that, but i certainly do. Note: With friends it's MUCH more fun.

PROS:
- A lot of variety in weapons and vehicles.
- A lot of different game modes. It never gets boring.
- Very well-made maps.
- Different classes. (assault, support and recon)
- Augments where you can buy all sorts of stuff.
- It is strategic. e.g. which augments and weapons should you buy first?
CONS:
- There are some strange bugs. But they can always be solved.
- When playing Solo. It kinda gets boring after a while.

Over all, I REALLY enjoy this game and now my other friends can join too bc it's F2P now!
P.S. I see a lot of people complaining it's F2P now and they want their money back. Jesus Christ it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 99 cents and you even get helmets for it. Stop complaining for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake.

one of the best games of 2015.
what i like about the game is that you don't need to buy a DLC to enjoy the game.
Though i've bought them because i'm helping the developers to make this game even better!
