Democracy Delivered… With Explosions!

Listen up, recruits! I just spent 8 hours diving headfirst into Helldivers 2, and I think I’ve permanently lost the ability to feel fear. This game doesn’t give you a power fantasy—it gives you a barely-working rifle, a bag full of orbital bombardments, and a heartfelt good luck before drop-kicking you into a battlefield full of things that really don’t like you.

The Good:
✅ You can call in airstrikes, orbital lasers, napalm, and giant mech suits. Sometimes they even hit the enemy instead of your teammates.
✅ The enemies are terrifying. Bugs the size of tanks? Check. Robots that make Terminators look like friendly Roombas? Double check.
✅ Everything is on fire all the time, and if it’s not, it soon will be.
✅ Friendly fire is always on, meaning your squadmates are a bigger threat than the aliens.

The Bad:
❌ My teammates have killed me more than the enemy. (One guy dropped a supply pod on my head twice in a row. He says it was an accident. I have my doubts.)
❌ Extracting from a mission is way harder than actually completing it. Picture four idiots screaming while sprinting through explosions, trying to make it to a dropship that arrives whenever it feels like it.
❌ The game is so immersive that I now automatically shout "FOR DEMOCRACY!" whenever I throw a grenade in any game.

Final Verdict:
Helldivers 2 is a beautiful, chaotic mess where teamwork is optional but accidentally killing your squad is mandatory. 10/10 would get crushed by another resupply pod again. For Super Earth!
