Diddy Kong has been around for 30 years, and has recently appeared in the SMB movie, is well known for his racing game… unfortunately, as you know someone else with the same name has been in the news with all sorts of bad and evil, so much that reading the word ‘Diddy’ is now damaged beyond repair.

Nintendo has changed names in the past- from Jumpman to Mario, Toadstool to Peach, Donkey to Cranky… perhaps now it will be necessary to change Diddy for obvious reasons that most fans will probably understand. Removing the character doesn’t seem an option as he is second or third after Cranky and Donkey.
