I don't like Roguelike Deckbuilders. I tried the best and none of them stuck with me. But this one? This one stuck. It's a ton of fun and bursting with flavor. It's not only my favorite in the genre, but I think it's going to end up being one of the games I constantly come back to.

Gonna keep this short.

Hogwarts Legacy is a great game that is elevated beyond that if you are a Potterhead. It has flaws, but none matter as the ride is fun and magical. Bravo, Avalanche Software. You did good.

If you like RPGs with fun combat and an emphasis on exploration, this is a buy.
If you like Harry Potter, this is a must buy.

Fantastic. I was looking for a "slower" shooter as I am getting to the age where my mechanics just aren't getting any better. HLL was exactly what I was looking for. Games are won by coordination and positioning, not kills (though kills help). You take objectives by having more bodies in the area than the enemy. So if you can shoot, just being a warm body where you're supposed to be is enough to help your team win games. The game strikes a nice balance between feeling like you are contributing and not feeling like you are dragging the team down. The gunplay is satisfying, the graphics are pretty, and the community is great. 66 hours and not once have I had a toxic encounter. Admins on most servers are pretty good about stamping out any that may rise up.

If you are looking for a shooter that doesn't require you to be a 360xNoScopexN00bSlayer, give this a try. Fair warning though, you will die....a lot. It's part of the game and can be a bit overwhelming at first, but listen to your squad lead and follow orders and you just may make it out alive.

First reviewed after launch. Underpowered PC, but with cranked down settings, I still had a good time. Today I finished my playthrough of 2.0 and Phantom Liberty, so I thought I would update it.

Wonderful. The game is fixed, and it's glorious. All the revamps in 2.0 are very welcome, the bugs are gone, and it runs great. Easily my favorite game of 2023 and Cyberpunk will likely stay in my top 10 list of games, and top 5 of RPGs for a long time. Highly recommend it. Story is great, characters are memorable, and the city...oh man the city. Night City and the Cyberpunk universe is now one of my all time favorite fictional worlds. I now have 162 hours in this game, the most I have in any single player game ever. And I will likely revisit it again. And if we ever get a Cyberpunk 2, even at the risk of a shaky launch, I will risk it and buy in at launch. I can't get enough of this world.

Launch review: The launch was shaky, but even without the many patches that fixed bugs, the game is good. incredibly rich world, great characters, cool story, lots to do. I will be revisiting this game over and over, especially as new content drops for it. I hope to see the devs keep the Cyberpunk franchise alive for a long time to come.

It took me a while to get into the game, but that's a me problem more than anything. But even back when I struggled, I knew this was a good game. It has a ton of content, the community expeditions are fun, the constant free updates bring so much into the game each time. The ultimate gaming redemption story. No Man's Sky as it is now is what it was hyped to be all those years ago and more.

Another great installment. 2022 builds on 2021 and adds several improvements. It was already the "go to" football coaching/management game but now it's even better. Coaching is even deeper. Management aspect is pretty deep as well and I can only assume it'll get better over the next several installments. Worth the money every year. I highly recommend this if you are interesting in a solid football sim. Even if you don't like the coaching aspect, it's great just to sim games. I spend most of my time in game just managing teams and watching fully simmed games.

A must play for (American) football fans.

Something actually useful: It's a blend of arcade and simulation and has a ton of depth with nice full playbooks, tricky passing and kicking mechanics, lots of different movement actions (spin, juke, hurdle, truck, power/charge/thingy, etc).

This game is absolutely not for everyone. Do you want arcade-y space dog fighting action and a rich story? Sorry, wrong game. Do you want invest in a HOTAS, learn how to fly a spaceship, and set your own goals? Do you want to know what it's like to be a space trucker? An asteroid miner? Spend months traveling through the black to find a cool looking planet or star that no one as ever seen before? Then this is the game for you. This is a space fight sim in a 1:1 scale replica of our galaxy, with realistic astronomical body generation. That said, everything is very far apart. The ships are hard to fly, outfitting is complicated, and there aren't many people around.

TL:DR: Don't buy this looking for a grand epic space story. Buy this because you want to play a flight sim in space.
