First ever monster Hunter game. Im not sure if this is the same formula but every mission is "Go kill this monster, monster gets to certain health, monster runs away, then you keep fighting it and t hen kill it. It is rinse and repeat with this game. The world itself feels... empty. You see creatures every now and then. And it has taken them a whole year to do something about the absolute garbage performance. I only touch this game to play with a couple friends, and if i am being honest, the game still sucks then.

You know what, this game is honestly not that bad. People are upset after they made a big deal out of it at the end of the game awards, but it is a decent ga me. They have a roadmap so there is more to come. I doe hope to see some more modes like 4v4 or 5v5 so i can have my friends all play with me. The gunplay feels fine and the game is easy to understand. I shall continue to play this game

FIX THAT DAMN ROAD FOR AMD USERS! IT causes a instant crash

Fun game. Would be more fun if it was better optimized though

So i love this game. HOWEVER I wanted to create a corvette and decided to swap it out with my A class solar fighter. Little did I know that SWAP meant "Delete your previous ship" now i have lost my ship and all of its supplies in it.

Alright. I have over 200 hours in this game. When it first came out? Oh it was fantastic. It was so much fun for me to play with my friends. But now? I cant even play the game these days. The game either crashes or it crashes my entire computer. No blue screen. It just turns off like someone hit the power button. The devs often implement bug fixes but they have yet to fix the MAJOR bugs in the game. These issues weren't even here upon release. Until the game becomes playable, I can not recommend this game for anyone

Alright, after many hours of playing im ready to make a review on the game. Overall the game is fun to play buit it does have some serious flaws and some great pros. So lets get into those

Pros:
The game actually takes skill to win. Cant just spam attacks like in Xenoverse

Very large roster of characters. Even without the repeat characters there are over 80 to choose from.

You can make your own special story missions with cutscenes. They take some time but other players can play them as well and i hope it gets more stuff in the future

Beam clashes are in the game and are very fun. My only problem with them is they change your positions so you are on equal ground. Not a big problem, but I would love to keep the high ground. Especially when im just messing around trying to do all the finishers on the proper enemy like using the angry kamehameha on full power frieza

Cons:
Music packs are not in the season pass. If you want the anime music, you need to spend 15 dollars per music pack.

The game is only 1v1. Unfortunately there is no way to have multiple players in a match together. You can do lobbies but its 1v1 and spectators. This has caused a lot of my friends to stop playing because they wanted some cool battles like in fighterz. I think a good feature would be to make it so it has the option for Fighterz style multiplayer and just call it co-op team battle. That way you can have a large party of friends playing at once and keep it a 1v1. (since there isnt a target switch mode xenoverse style multiplayer would not work)

Good game other than the fact that i disconnect every once in a while, kicking me from my party of friends as it sends them into a match

This gmae makes me want to commit various warcrimes

I want to love this game, but when i join a team, and the other two players leave, its not even fun. I'm stuck fighting bosses made for 3 people to fight and have to fight them solo... I SOMEHOW got Gladius down to half SOLO. But I get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because its just me because randoms are so unreliable. Please add in something so when players leave it doesnt cripple a playthrough... if we could even get some type of safe zone in the game where we can all go in and pause the game. Elden ring was great because if I needed to go to the bathroom or something, I can go to the roundtable or just find a spot away from enemies to do so. In this game, I have to play for 30+ minutes and if I need to use the bathroom, I have to ditch everyone (This did happen)
