There's long been a missing link between Kerbal Space Program and Orbiter, and this bridges it very well. It's got enough clicky cockpit stuff to be fun from a sim perspective, but has external views and calculators that make things actually accessible. It's also the only half-decent sim with good support for the Gemini missions, which is something that I've been hunting for forever.

this is one of the most relaxing, chaotic, and weirdly heartfelt games i've ever played. the first few runs you go "what is this ♥♥♥♥" and 100 hours later you're a tree destroying death himself.

ive beaten this game on both pc and xbox, with separate saves.

I am not smart enough for deck building games. This game has me hooked. It's got that "one more run" hook, and is easy to pick up, with a lot of depth.

The Italian front of WWI was, historically, like sending two toddlers into a knife fight. You can now be one of said toddlers. The map designs are great, and offer a solid variety of trenches, towns, mountains, and all kinds of stuff, and the changes to skills and addition of construction really knock this game well above its predecessors.

My only major gripe is that it takes a while to unlock a decent amount of kit, but a few custom matches against bots will get you to the point where you will have a solid loadout for your preferred classes. Ultimately, there isn't a ton of difference between most of the weapons, so it's largely about the minutiae after the first couple of levels/challenges.

If the level of post-release support that Verdun and Tannenberg had is any indication, this will have a solid life of updates, until the developers inevitably set something in Africa or Turkey.

VR is really good for shooting at things. This is probably the best shooting gallery/play with a gun game there is. It has cool modern guns, it has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird old ♥♥♥♥, and everything inbetween. It's updated often, usually adding one or two new guns, and has a lot of cool features. The last few updates (as of december, 2020) have laid the groundwork for some really cool stuff that I'm excited to see!

Update as of April 2024: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how is Anton still adding more stuff??? Weird obscure ♥♥♥♥? Got it. The most cursed ♥♥♥♥ imaginable? youbetcha.

A solid PVE shooter, just enough changes from run to run to keep it interesting, and the PVP is pretty good, if you do that stuff. Sometimes I wish things would unlock a bit faster, but I guess I need something to keep me playing!

Every few years, a game comes out that is incredibly silly with an absurdly good hook and high skill ceiling. This is one of those games. It's both a genuinely interesting take on the rhythm game genre, and a funny goof. Genuinely one of the most delightful experiences I've had playing a game in a long time, and I can't wait for what they have planned going forward

They also are upfront about having a jumpscare in it, and let you turn that off. That owns.

edited to add: this really makes it feel like you are in a junior high band and just learning the instrument. i mean that in the absolute best possible way.

The 2020 F1 season was a bit of a weird one, but the game is good, at least! The my team mode is a good career-based mode, with a lot of solid systems, and as usual, the F2 cars are a ton of fun. The only issue is that the multiplayer is still a bit broken, but if you're mostly looking for a single-player experience, this really is one of the best racing games that straddles the "not-quite-a-sim" line
