Early Access Review
I have not experience any issues thus far. For an early access game it is incredibly well put together.
All the reviews regarding stability or little bugs need to realise this is the very first public release of the game and these will be fixed. Some giving negative reviews before they have even played the damn thing.

The unlimited combination of PC hardware devs need to accommodate for all working slightly different and people have a fit over the tiniest thing. Did you see the state of the Skull and bones game after 10 years of dev from a huge publisher? Get over yourself jeez.

Anyway!

The concept is unique and something that will really give this game longevity. The combat is fun with loads of little elements people don't seem to notice, knives having increased back stab damage for example paired with the dodge ability makes for a great little agility build.

The weather and sound effects are incredibly immersive, to the point where they really make you want to seek shelter. Did you know it hails in some biomes? And hurts??

Every realm is unique and fairly large, the monsters you gain materials from influence the perks of gear, building is intuitive, I could just keep listing the positives. These devs have genuinely hit the ground running in my eyes with all the mechanics, creativity and quality of life elements of the game and this is just Day 1.

Early Access Review
This game, although it has made no bold claims to do so. Has given me the solid survival, crafting, fantasy gaming experience I have missed so much. That feeling of exploring a HUGE world, not knowing what I will encounter next. Will I survive? How do I progress? What else do I need? Where haven't I looked yet?

For something sitting in early access, to have such few bugs, such solid gameplay and crafting is so refreshing.

The way the developers talk of the features too "Cant wait to see what you build with our flesh out building system when its done" People are making incredible structures with the vast variety thats available already. I can't wait to see what it becomes.

I could go on and on. Really. But honestly, it feels like a long time since a developer has truly started developing the game that THEY want to see, that THEY want to play. As opposed to what corporate has told them to make.

My only worry is that they may struggle to keep that feeling of wonder for a long time.

If you enjoy Terraria, Rust, Runescape, Skyrim, Minecraft. Get this you wont regret it.

TL;DR Pay2Win

At first it was fun, felt like my plays were great. Steamrolling everybody. Then you hit a point.

That point is where it doesnt matter that you are throwing the same units at each other - because theirs are a slightly higher level and will ruin everything you throw at them regardless of placement or how you play them.

Then you fight through a bit more, think great I can level up my cards and get a little futher. You wont.

Guess why?

YOU GOTTA PAY. Unlock chests.. for more cards.. or wait between 1.5hrs - 6 hours for a chest to unlock to get a couple of cards out which will more than likely level up the cards you dont use. This looked great at first. But without a doubt a pay to win game.

This game needs A LOT of work. It is an incredibly good concept and I can imagine it being a good laugh with a lot of friends playing, especially if there was some kind of position based voip. I can imagine cockroaches with a pitch modifier taunting the "Man".

Bit disappointed that this is made in Unity, I mean its good engine but considering the size of the game as it currently stands I think something made in UE would be much more aesthetically pleasing and less buggy as there is only one room at the moment.

As for the "map" or room that you play in, the size of it is frustratingly small. I understand if it was huge the game would be impossible for the Man to win, but the fact a cockroach can sit on the wall directly infront of you and be inaccessable by anything but throwing pots and pans around is frustrating, theres a crouch/crawl function now which is cool but maybe there should be an option to climb onto a moveable footstool too.

I feel that this game was something that was made over the weekend and I am unsure if it will go any further. Which is a shame as there seems to be a lot of potential and I hope the devs realise this.

Animations need some work and the overall gameplay could be smoother.

Its frustrating when you pick up an item and cannot open cupboards or drawers with it in your hand.

Also... Cockroaches need a strafe...

I could go on with few more things but I have wrote enough.

Overall, a lot of potential, great concept but so so far from being finished.

Incredibly slow placed, visuals are lacking for a game being released now.

Repetative and a little dull.

Almost feels like you're on rails following a linear path with little to no interaction with anything aside from wandering around the same space for 5 minutes picking up different "clues"

I got this free, which would normally make a game better.
HA.

I played this for a good couple of hours and uninstalled it, slow paced, wont get to the point.

The whole concept is cool, solving your own murder, posession, moving through the void...

But what this game essentially is, is awkward, awkward badly made and outdated.

not to mention horrifically linear.

The clues you collect are useless if you have any sense and pick up the obvious one first then you progress without any of the menial.. pick that up.. investigate this (by looking at it) move forward, now you can move to the next area, where you will do it again, and again, and again.

There was one, amazing, feature that made some of the montany worth it...

YOU COULD POSESS A CAT.

for all of 5 minutes then you were straight back into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Don't spend money on this.
