This was so cute.
I played through it twice because I couldn't get two of the rooms to 100% due to some buggy behaviours, so it's a lot shorter than my playtime implies.. but it's still pretty fun.
It's very clean-focused and the story is really only part of it if you're looking for it. If you just want to clean and don't want story, it's easy to ignore.. but if you want story you can find it all around you as you go through things and put them away.
Honestly would prefer if it was longer, probably would have waited for a bigger sale if I realized it was so short. The bugs made it a little annoying because I had to fully close the game twice to make certain things clickable (the stickynotes on the sewing machine did NOT want to come off the first playthrough), but honestly if you can get past that it's cozy and enjoyable.

This is a cute, cozy game that CAN be fun.. but misses the mark for me.
The story is barely there, it's very subtle. For something that claims to have a story and we are "rebuilding the past" it's lacking. If it had a better/stronger story, it would immediately feel less task-driven and more immersive.
The controls can be janky. A few times I've had to exit whatever I was repairing and re-enter because a piece would go missing or it wouldn't fully clean something.
It holds your hand through every piece you build so you literally can't do anything wrong, which keeps it under relaxing but not really under puzzle.

All in all, if you like these kinds of games and can snag it on sale - go for it. It's not terrible. But don't pay full price, it's too short and too janky to be worth it (in my opinion).

Not kidding when they say date everything - amazing!

The game isn't terrible.. but the length for the price is not worth it.
On top of that, not being able to change the mouse sensitivity had me spending almost 10 minutes just trying not to throw up at how insane it was. Took adjusting.

I like the no hand-holding and figuring out what happened yourself, but for three extremely short stories it's just sad. Save your money and wait until it's less than $5 in the future 'cause otherwise it just isn't worth.

I love detective/crime games so I was so excited for this to come out.. but so, SO disappointed.

I bought this because I was OBSESSED with the base game and the other DLC.. but this one feels like a chore.

A LOT of the puzzles are so tedious and very specific. I usually just do trial and error for ones that stump me but I've had to look up a guide for several already and it has completely sapped the fun from it. The only reason I'll finish this DLC is for the achievements, but honestly I'm sad I've spent money on this.

If you like achievements and you don't mind sitting around for ages all confused, then this is the DLC for you!

Even if I wasn't aiming for achievements, I would have played multiple times.
There were at least THREE times I made a noise or comment OUT LOUD 'cause it took me by surprise or I got so invested into the story that I completely forgot that I'm an actual person outside of the game.

I love dating sims and this one is just *chef's kiss*. Would have paid money just for the base game, it is definitely worth it - extra bonus that it's actually free and this amazing.

If you enjoy the "found phone" genre of games, and you enjoy Doctor Who, you'll enjoy this!

Been a long-time Doctor Who fan, so seeing a game based around one of the (in my opinion) scariest Doctor Who enemies was really cool! Took me about 2 hours to complete and that's because I like to read everything. There were so many cool bits from the show that you'd only notice as a fan that were fun!

Still a really cool game to play if you're not a Doctor Who fan, as you're still going through someone's phone and solving a mystery and trying to stop the big bad from getting out into the world. :)

If you enjoy murder mysteries, this is a really solid game.

I loved trying to piece it all together and discovering new bits of the story based on what each character said, and seeing that some things didn't add up made me feel like a real detective!

Plus you can pet the cat. :)

For a puzzle game, it has its ups and downs.

First, the ups:
- I love the initial aesthetic, very cool design.
- The music is kind of fun and the voice acting was surprisingly well done.
- Some of the puzzles were unique and added a fun element.

The downs:
- The wobbly edges of the camera as your time runs out made me nauseous and it didn't have a toggle to remove that.
- Some of the puzzles didn't have enough context to figure out near the end so I spent a lot of time reiterating to my partner what I had, and he did the same, and both of us were stumped (we do puzzle games constantly so getting stumped isn't super common).
- The hint system is /okay/ but doesn't recognize where you are in a puzzle so will give hints to bits you've already solved.

Overall, it's a decent game. I would recommend it to people if they like a challenge, aren't easily ill by movement, and have a ton of time to sink into it. I did enjoy playing it until the last three cars, so it was fun! I wouldn't go back and finish it personally though.

If I could select yes AND no for recommend, I would! The game is fun if you swf and meme, but there are so many people who either have no idea what they're doing or don't care about the level of fun others are having that the game is not great.

If you hate yourself: Get the game. If you haven't played it yet: STAY AWAY. You will dump all the hours into this and never escape. Run while you can.
