I bought this game on a whim after trying it for the free weekend and having some extra money in steam. In many ways, this game brought back memories of playing CoD WaW and the classic multiplayer aspects of that. However, as many people who have played a CoD game know, the multiplayer can get a bit repetitive and stale after a while, at least in my experiences. I haven't played the campaign yet, but I've heard good things about it and I can't say anything for that portion. However, the main reason I wrote this review was for something that happened during my time playing Nazi Zombies mode. After my first full run through, I made it about an hour before our team got overrun. However, going into the second time, my team was much more engaged and communicative, and it felt really enjoyable to have this kind of feeling. Things were going great,and about an hour and 30 minutes into the match, my game freezes, a message pops up saying "Call of duty service unavailable at this time" and disconnects me completely from the match mid-game. No ending rewards, probably no chance to link up with the same group again, and just left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed that problems like this can just happen without any indication and affects players who put potentially hours of progress into these matches.
TLDR; Multiplayer is fine, classic CoD style. Didn't try campaign much, but heard generally positive reviews, Zombies very fun, at least for someone coming back from WaW. Disconnecting issues not fun at all (2 hours of zombies mode only to see a disconnect screen) , Some cheaters in multiplayer as well. Overall, It's a fairly solid game, but i'd wait until it's around $30 or so to give it a try.

this game. THIS GAME. basically, if you don't have it by now, something's VERY wrong. Get it now guys and you won't regret a single minute. Everything is awesome. nothing is not awesome. awesome. awesomeawesome.
