I'm starting to think that raccoon is lying to me about this park meeting safety standards.

Chapter 3 is the bane of my existence. I've been softlocked twice, and got to the 4th chapter only to learn that the game's autosave system broke early in the 3rd chapter.. The combat is monotonous and unsatisfying. it quickly becomes a fetch quest with no clear end goal to keep you motivated. The primary threat is very easily hidden from, and once you've tucked yourself into a hiding space, you will then have to watch it very slowly walk around until it decides to abruptly, and somewhat comedically, despawn. I feel like Sisyphus.

I want to love this game, the first two chapters have a wonderful atmosphere to them, the art style is charmingly unique, there's a compelling story here. I know some people might be coming back to look at this game due to the (at the time of writing this) recent release of Dark Revival, but do yourself a favour and just pull up a youtube video of this one. There is love and passion put into this game, most certainly, but not in the coding, and not in the mechanics.

Also, I'm going to finish this game because I'm a spiteful bastard.

Little upset you can't overthrow Mayor Lewis but you get to raise chickens so I guess the pros outweigh the cons.
