I had a difficult time figuring out whether i would give this a thumbs up or down. After much thought, I decided on a thumbs down.

If you are the type of gamer that is willing to put hundreds of hours into one toon and still not get your toon super geared out, then this game will work very well for you.

If you the type that likes to get there relatively quick, then this might not be the game for you, and if you are an altaholic, then this game most definitely is not for you. Don't even bother.

This game started out very well. Very strong, and had plenty of potential. The graphics were and always have been kind of dated, but the gameplay for a while made up for that. And the storyline, if you chose to read everything, was very compelling.

The biggest problem really goes into what I explained first. This game kind of caters to a particular niche. For the hardcore grinders. Thats about it. They have not been able to find a happy medium to draw a generic crowd. That's about really it, and that is enough for me not to recomend this in general.

I know this game is still very much in the process of being made, and so far I am very much enjoying it. I've been told you will encounter 10 hackers within the first hour of playing, even nowadays, but I am 17+ hours in and the only evidence of hackers that I have encountered is the occasional message telling the entire server that a hacker has been banned(along with a a quirky message, most of the time), and on occasion the buildings they built on top of a roof that they could not have gotten on without some sort of cheats.

Anyway, long story short, to this point in development, I would rate this game a good 7 out of 10. I am hoping that things will improve from here, which I have no doubt that they will.

I am a huge fan of the Total War series, and this game still brings an amazing challenge. Graphics are awesome, gameplay is more complicated than previous Total War games, but is very rewarding when you succeed. All that stuff. lol.

Anyway, I rate this game a 9.5/10. It was pretty much completely awesome.
