Controls and graphics are great.
UI and tutorials, not so much.

Space ninjas, fun weapons, and eventually feeling like you broke the game being OP
Remember, it's balanced if everyone is OP.

Probably one of the best RPG games ever.

The game is fairly linear, with a directed story. This lets the game deliver an experience that isn't restrictive, and very rich.
It's fairly well-known that there are books that precede the games, but they are in addition to the experience and not a necessity.
The world and interactions are some the best in a game, the gameplay for me is the weakest point and it still is very solid.
