I can't claim to have experience with the F-Zero series, but I have played Feperd's previous works, all of which are tied together with a specific consistency; Speed.

Extreme Formula performs this same feat with flying colors. Ever wanted to go so fast you feel like that final scene from the Speed Racer movie, using nothing but pure instinct and muscle memory to swerve, and boost your way into enough velocity to break the sound barrier?? Well you can! (And beyond! (With the right amount of practice!))

- Controls are tight, and precise. Usually any time you ram into a wall, it'll feel like your fault, rather than the game's.

- The race tracks, and environments are varied, and unique, taking you on a grand tour across our local solar system in the year 3000.

- Music is just an absolute BOP to listen to.

The only criticism I can give is that this game could use a bit more optimization. There have unfortunately been times where the game practically goes buffet mode on memory, and chugs for a solid few moments. It's not unplayable by any means, but it would be nice to have a shader compiler, or something similar for this sort of thing.

Overall, if you like going fast, you're gonna have a blast.

This game is an achievement on how to reinvent the wheel as a 4-player co-op horde shooter, and then engineer a particle accelerator to make the wheel spin even faster.

First off, Helldivers II is funny as all hell in the fact that you can literally nuke your friend from orbit, and you'll ragdoll 50 feet from the blast. Friendly fire has never been a funnier mechanic than in this game. It also helps that the voice acting is top notch, with dynamic voicelines for how tense the situation is. (I.E. Casual "Reloading~" during leisurely treks vs bloody screams of "RELOADIIIING!!!" when being swarmed by bugs/bots.)

Secondly, it's addictively fun to play in the sense of having total control over your characters actions. Movement, firing weapons, throwing stratagems, and most importantly diving, all have a satisfying, and deliberate weight associated with each action. You're no super soldier, you're just a soldier with an arsenal of orbital strikes, and that's okay! It makes accomplishing challenging tasks all that more rewarding because of that fact, especially with friends.

Lastly, the game is a live service, which means the game's lifespan is determined by how long the developers want to support it. Not always a good thing, but from what I've personally seen in my nearly 300 hours of service to Managed Democracy, is that the developers are on a good track to keeping this game alive for a very long time considering their 60-day plan, and recent balancing patches have made the game that much more fun to play.

Quite possibly one of the best games ever developed, and my personal favorite of last year, and proceeding forward. I'm ashamed I didn't write a review sooner considering my extensive time with Spark 2.

What do you get when you mix the stylish combat of DMC, the exhilarating speed of Sonic, and a soundtrack so fire you'll be listening to it weeks after? Spark the Electric Jester 3! The game completely speeds past, surpasses, and soars past it's predecessor's with flying colors, taking the developing knowledge from the past two games, and ramping it up to a hundred! From wall running, skydiving, driving, flying an aircraft, to the sheer vastness of explorability, and things to collect in a level, this game has something for everyone, whether juggling enemies in expansive combos, or flying (sometimes literally) across the map at mach 9.

If you're one who's debating whether or not to get this game, I strongly suggest you do. The price completely justifies the content, and that's not even mentioning the FREE DLC coming out in bits & pieces every now and then. If it's between this beautifully crafted indie gem, with tons of inspired, and interesting locales, plus level design that compliments the moveset of the character, or another popular speedster game that costs 2x more with incredibly bare bones content, and seemingly ZERO inspired aesthetic..

Then I choose to Spark It Up!!

Wonderful little gem of a Roguelite Bullet Hell that just scratches that itch of wanting a challenging, yet charming experience. I've only played this game for 10 hours, and I'm still being surprised by the amount of content, and references/homages to past games of it's caliber. I look forward to any extra content being added going forward!

Plus how can you beat that price just pay the money don't think about it, it's worth it.

A rather short, but incredibly charming, minimalist 2D platformer. A game that scratches that itch in my brain for simple, but challenging mechanics, with tight precision.

Like I said before though, the game is short, having little under 120 levels. This is only slightly remedy'd with Endless, and Speedrun mode if you're into that sorta thing.

Overall however, it's a good game made by one fella. The price is definitely worth it.

7 days to die is a FUN game where you stand on top of a mine for five seconds, and then ask; "is this a mine?", and then it blows up, and you are sent back to an arizona bunker.

Fun with friends.

You shoot giant insects with weapons that progressively get bigger, and more explodey. 10/10

I believe it's the fact that I compared the Dynasty Warrior games to this game's game play trailer, and then bought it. As much as it's reviews are "Overwhelmingly Positive," I assume they mean the "overwhelming amount of fanservice." As much as I enjoy fanservice in my games, with skimpy lingerie, and bikinis (excluding the distasteful Dead or Alive Xtreme.), the service here looks like they gave you a blow up sex doll, and threw some linear air combat in to boot where you press the X button so many times, and occasionally press the Y button. It's like going to Hooters. You came for the boobs, but you wouldn't come back for the food.

But hey, if you like 3D Streets of Rage with anime tits, customizable sexy outfits, a bunch of straightforward missions, two flashy special moves, and stages, then this is definitely for you!
