One of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Easy to pick up and put down, but it still has so much depth. It almost feels like you are playing a story book. You really get attached to the characters and care about what happens to them.

The game is about 4 days in to Early Access at the time of this writing.

There is currently a lot of rage about the state of servers and the lack of ability to play this game. It's unfortunate that the devs hadn't tried stress testing their servers before launching into Early Access but having too many people wanting to play your game is a good problem to have. Patience is the key here. It will get fixed and we will all forget about this when we can reliably play.
On to the review!

WALKERS:
Walkers are a really fun and visually pleasing method of transportation. Building a walker doesn't feel like its too easy to build but also doesn't feel like it's too easy. You get a really nice sense of accomplishment when you build your first walker. The animations of steering the larger walkers are fantastic and really make you feel like the character is world are comfortable and live there.
COMBAT:
Combat is something that will take time to learn but is very fluid and intuitive once you figure it out, which should not take long.
MUSIC:
I love the music in this game. It has a really nice tone to it. It suits the world perfectly and adds a lot to the player experience. It doesn't even really get annoying when you spend a long time in a menu. It's a sorta of Himalayan vibe to it.
PVP:
The sorts of game always have toxic players that love to do nothing more than attack low level players and ruin their day. you will get ganked at least once after leaving the starter area. Unless you have a clan or are very lucky, you will find yourself rebuilding after losing a lot of the resources you spent time collecting. The communities that that spring up around these kinds of games absolutely love punishing new players and then acting surprised when players numbers start to suffer. Hopefully this game can survive long enough to establish a large enough pool of less toxic players.

Overall I have liked this game and will be playing more once the servers can handle the strain. I can hardly wait to hunt some Sand Worms either!

This game will eat all of your spare time. All of it. Forget having a family. Forget keeping a job. This is your life now. Get out whie you still can!

Very interesting story telling. The music is amazing. The shadow mechanic is fun, although the controls can make some of the puzzles difficult. Probably best played with a controler tather than a mouse and keyboard.
