Looking at this game from an outside perspective I was skeptical of how fun could this game really be. So I naturally decided to look into the game before deciding to ultimately purchase the game. Now having 30 hours on record I feel I'm ready to leave my review.

Let's get the Pros out of the way first:
Firstly there are some really great pros of playing this game, if you're looking for a good ghost hunting game this is for you. The execution of the the hunting and game play itself is very well done. From the EMF readers, to spirit box, there are many things to keep you excited and want to play more.
Now lets talk about the ghosts of the game. While there are some that are on the extremes of both ends, being overpowered, or down right pathetic. The extreme end of the overpowered at the time of writing is the Demon. The Demon can early hunt at any sanity level sometimes causing an unsuspecting death to newcomers or even experienced veterans alike. This can sometimes be frustrating however can spice the game up drastically.
Lastly for the pros I'll talk about the most docile ghost in the game... the Shade. This ghost, to put in perspective is the one guy in the friend group that everyone lets in because they feel bad, because no one likes him simply because he's... well.. boring. The Shade doesn't hunt if there are multiple people nearby, and causes hardly any interactions, sometimes making it near impossible without everyone but one person being outside, to find evidence, and gather pictures.

The Cons of Phasmophobia:
Of course no game is perfect, and have their fair share of bugs and glitches. Now I'll tell you just a little from what I've experienced and seen over my time and from watching others play the game that I dearly adore.
To start us off let's get the bugs out of the way. Every now and then closets and lockers simply won't work, and their hitbox is massive. Now, I know what you're probably thinking when I say their hitbox is huge, "Well, does that mean they're hard to walk around?" and to that I have to say no. When I say their hitbox is huge I mean that to hide you have to have all electronics off a mere 5 to 10 meters before even entering one. This isn't every time and of course this will get patched but with every update it feels as if with 1 bug being fixed 3 more arise.
Now for the ghosts again... there are some ghosts that just don't even feel they should be in the game. For example, the Banshee. The Banshee as some of the experienced players know, use to have the ability the Demon does now, where she could early hunt from any sanity. However, they recently moved that to the Demon causing the Banshee to be left powerless. Nothing really happens with one anymore. She feels more as a Shade does now, just with slightly more activity. Making the player say "If I die to this ghost I might simply uninstall." because the ghost is so weak.

Though, like I said every game has flaws, but with every update the game is getting better. I would recommend for someone that is looking for a good ghost hunting game to grab this when you have the opportunity. Then $13.99 price tag is well deserved and is very modest for a game of this proportion. Otherwise if you're looking for a very action packed game, this might not be the one for you as at times it can be very slow, but when it does pick up, you best believe your heart will still racing with your legs to see who moves the fastest.

This game isn't fun and I want to kill myself every-time I play it now anyone that is suicidal I highly recommend playing if you need the motivation to end it all. I have 5000 hours and I regret every second of it.
