Get your good headphones, set aside a couple of hours, talk to all the characters and crawl into every crevice. It's a fantastic time.

At time of writing, PC helldivers 2 is unstable and matchmaking barely works, though it does eventually if you spam the button enough. I don't think I care.

Aesthetically perfect. Gameplay keeps a steady progression while expertly keeping the difficulty with it and it's very easy to pace yourself. I will say, It's like monster hunter in that you really do want to not play solo as it it'll get MUCH harder for you MUCH faster. 4 people can play at once but even just one other person in a VC dramatically improves your chances.

Hectic, wild, and will press your ability to act under pressure and will give you plenty of what the ♥♥♥♥ moments. Making it out of a mission you thought you were sure to lose feels so VERY good. I can't remember the last time I had as much fun trying to be good at a game since Ultrakill.

Anyway, I'm never playing Destiny again.

TF2 Dodgeball meets Lethal League. WAY more fun than it has any right being. Fun to suck at, fun to be good at. Anyone that I've introduced to this game has liked it. You will too.

If you've ever thought about how you might overengineer an egg drop, this game is for you.

Titanfall 2 is a shooter game. As a shooter game, it's pretty good. A good selection of guns ranging from very good and very fun, and they all feel good to use. But that's been done before, we've all played good FPS games. What makes this one different? Titans, right?

Actually, no, Titans aren't it. They're fun, don't get me wrong, but they're horribly balanced against each other. Respawn makes good FPS games, but not super great MOBAs, which is what Titanfall turns into once titans start fighting each other. Titans are fun, but it's not what keeps you playing this game.

No, the real juice here is the movement. There are lots of "movement shooters" around, but there are very few that really truly understand the secret to a *good* movement shooter; what you're moving through. Play this game for even a little bit and the way that the maps are designed to flow is obvious. Play it for longer and you'll start to find the less-obvious nooks and crannies you can use. Play it for longer and you might catch yourself running at mach 2 using stim, floating through the map above the slower players. Play it for longer and you might find yourself using the grapple hook to slingshot yourself at even *faster* speeds, up and above the whole ass map, flying out-of-bounds and landing on the other end before the OOB timer gets you. Get REALLY juiced up on movement and you might drop your Scorch titan behind enemy lines, wreck some ♥♥♥♥ before you get wrecked yourself, and then combine the force of the ejection, air strafing, and stim to launch yourself at OBSCENE velocities, well and far away from danger.

Giant robots hook you into Titanfall, but the movement is what provides the depth of play that creates the kind of fanatic userbase that Titanfall has. Don't be afraid. Become one of us.

Oh yeah, and the campaign is pretty good too. It's cheesy but it knows it, and above all, is very fun.

You remember Final Ninja? From Nitrome? If you do, you're gonna love this game. if you don't, you'll like it anyway.

Gameplay demands a lot from the player, but doesn't punish them too hard for failing. immediately puts you back, and you go again. Simultaneously high-octane action and strategic.

Story isn't bad either. Fairly typical cyberpunk samurai stuff.

I thought I'd just play a bit at 2am and then it grabbed me by the brain meat and then it was 7am.
