This game has come a long ways since it's Arma 2 days.

It's definitely worth the price on sale, most of the DLC isn't required to play the game and community servers that are modded have plenty of content for those wanting something extra from the vanilla experience.

The only dated part of Dayz is the game engine which hopefully will be overhauled to match Bohemia Interactive's Arma Reforger!

which is the only reason it should hold you back from buying this game full price, would recommend buying when it's on sale like I did.

The game is so good it makes other drug dealing games jealous...
