It's fun with friends, that's about it. The warbonds system is ass. Either you swipe or grind your life away to just so you can experiment at all or try the new content that comes every few months since that's the only new content you'll get for a while.
We paid $40+ for this, give us new content for free without making us shill hours just to access them. Just find someone with an SC dropper and save yourself the pain
The ragdoll is funny at first, then you realize it's intentionally poorly done to create artificial difficulty, but of course you'll still have elitist defend it.
Squids are not fun to fight despite the recent addition to their list. Stop giving us MOs for them, there's a reason we've been failing them.
Fleshmob are just bad, remove them.
Let us shoot off the Levi's turret
Stringray and Cresentmoon Overseer are ok
Bots and Bugs (normal strain) are alright.

For the time being with the recent "issues", you're better off spending your money on something better. Buy Helldivers 2 or something and spend that remaining ~$30 for noodles :D

Only played with buddies (different platform) so my personal experience has been ok asides from "erroneous blood effects".

Decent game with friends. Don't buy for full price, wait for a sale. A lil bit of replayability. Spend money on something else if you can.

The recent roadmap is honestly disappointing. I'm not gonna hold my breath for this game at the moment. Wait for a sale honestly. AI behavior is still ♥♥♥♥ but we're working on "lip sync" and DLCs.
Game overall is kinda a letdown from what was promised and the devs aren't really doing much to restore faith.

To give credits where due, the immersion is fairly good until the suspect AI wallbangs you through a pixel or strafes with 99% accuracy.
You can probably still enjoy the game depending on your patience with the poor AI, but once you've done all the level, which is like 18 levels, then you're done unless you go for achievements. A few gameplay varieties with weapons and gadgets.

A wholesome and positive story. Definitely worth a shot if you're looking for a story rich game. The game provides you with trial characters for the story missions, so no need to grind character level, gear, and etc.
However like the other reviews have said, play via the Hoyo launcher instead.
