Civ 6 ruined my life.

I started playing at 6 in the morning and when I took a break to save, the clock read 1 PM. An alarm went off for an assignment that's due. I quickly ctrl+c, ctrl+v my way to an underwhelming mark and proceed to settle new parts of the map.

My phone buzzes, a call from a friend that I forget to answer. I assure myself I'll get back to them. My phone buzzes again but I truly cannot sacrifice my time to entertain this person while the Nordic menace prepares for war in the East.

After several days of play, my Mother apologetically cracks open the door to my room. She asks me if I'd like to watch a movie together sometime and I tell her no, my eyes never leaving the screen.
