In Nigeria there is a group called the Boko Haram. This is an Islamic Extremist group from northern Nigeria that don’t like the fact that there are Christians in southern Nigeria. The Boko Haram have been causing issues. Some of these issues include kidnapping children, killing Christians, and terrorizing their own citizens and even killing them. This is a large issue as it causes issues within our countries economy. According to post-nigeria.com , in 2015 the Boko Haram terrorist group became the most dangerous terrorist group. They succeeded in killing at least 6,644 people from 2014 to 2015. In this time ISIS, (who affiliate with the Boko Haram group) killed a total of 6,073 people. They have also displaced 2.3 million people from their homes. Nigeria has recorded the largest increase in deaths from terrorism, with fatalities quadrupled in 2014, reaching more than 7,500.
