Heartbreakingly bad, the first one was so good i bought Steamworld Heist II blindly.

Steamworld Heist II does nothing better, simplifies gameplay and it seems the devs don't even understand what made the first one great, in the sequel, you need to farm to survive contant reinforcements, which are impossible if you havent grinded enough, there is no tactical aspect to combat, pure numbers, which is also the only thing affected by the difficulty, their health, damage, and reinforcement count.

Terrible experience, I wish they hadn't released this and I wish I could only remember experiencing the first one, super sad.

the theme and setting seems casual, but the game is demanding and VERY FUN, one of the best designed games ive ever played, you could even say its on par with left 4 dead 2 and such
