perfect for when u want to be in your own little world

its fun game,however i been trying to get online access to join multiplayer servers for 4 years now and still trying,,,so just be prepared to play single player only for most of us because it requires a effen rocket science degree to figure out how to get online,there are absolutely no correct information on any forums that tell you a step by step process to gain multiplayer access so be prepared to be fusterated ,like i said its been over 4 years of trying to gain multiplayer access,its so complicated that i have to place a ad in the classifieds for someone to get me online,all other games work just fine online so it is a game issue that hasnt been addressed since its release

so i suppose since its been four years, they just still refuse to fix game,we spend money on game,but wont start on any windows format but all other games play just fine,i guess someone get sto enjoy my money,and im out of product,its unplayable.....great,thnx

as of when the game first came out, this was a must play game, it was very replayable, fun, and just epic, now, you spend hours grinding with some buddies to build a base, log in to it being completely destroyed by a higher tribe trying to stay in power. you die from damn near everything,its a struggle surviving more than a few days without being wiped off the face of the map from some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a t-rex or a spino. or whatever they added now, oh wait, they added plasma guns and ironman suits. its cool, but as a official thought made into a update? no it just ruined it for me. i played this game for 4 months straight almost 15 hours a day and it was enjoyable. but then they didnt have a good anti hack and hackers could wipe a whole tribe easily. you spend HOURS taming a dino that will be killed overnight.
they add more content instead of fixing the current problems of the game. first it was a classic survival game with dinosaurs and a erie wonder of what the oblisks did. now those give you alien age weapons and made it into a iron man suit contest. many people like it, i get why, but it was ruined after they started to add futuristic stuff. to many engrams, not enough points, and by the time you get to the level they do server wipes. not to mention you probably wont be able to get to build it due to the HUGE amount of resources needed.


i give this game a 7/10 from my personal experience. i played this on day 1 when it came on steam. i tried to play it again and i simply just couldnt. good game, bad roadmap.

the graphics, dinosaurs, map, etc are extremely beautiful and the devs have did a amazing job. but i think they should just focus on something elsewhere besides adding more and more engrams. optimize the game more, fix the bugs, balance the game, please make leveling up slighty more easily because it takes ages, no one realisticly has the time for this game, you can gain alot more players IMO.

i gave it that score because sometimes the AI are a little over powered, but in multiplayer its like whack-a-mole. building is simple and fun, adventure is its middle name, danger is its last, but survival is its first. cave systems bring you underground in a creepy maze of flooded caverns, dismembered bodies, and mutants of your nightmares.

-never go into the woods at night, the creepy guys who walk like the girls in the movie "mama" like to stalk you...
