The game is not perfect by any means, if you love hollow knight it's a must play no doubt, the difficult curve is really hard to grasp since there's alot from the beginning, the late game tho the game feels good to play, the few late game bosses i did fight were all fun, so in summary the game starts alot harder than hollow knight until you get used to how it plays, late game i would not say it's easy but for sure alot easier to play

Art in general, sound, art style, musics, all really wonderful

The changes to how you build your character from the first game feels pretty good to me in special the "combat styles" you can choose, some of them changing alot of the gameplay

I don't need to talk about difficulty as so many people already talked about, but in summary, taking double damage too early, alot of flying enemies with ranged attacks, scarcity of money which is not really bad but looks worse than it is

What really got me tho is the lack of acessibility options, the game is alot faster than the first one, some bosses doing attacks with small close to invisible markers which for people like me (visual impairment) can be pretty bad

I don't think the game is bad, but i can't recommend to the general public, if hollow knight is a 10, for now i can give silksong a 8.5

Gameplay wise feels pretty good to me, we have the foundation, enemies with recognizable patterns of attacks, a good variety of weapons, melee and ranged, ultimate (gadgets), holobyes (passives) for build diversification.

The bad part is, lack of basic config options like mouse sensitivity, not the best performancer which is expected but not unplayable, few enemies feel a bit tough, few bugs to me but nothing super bad, and the last thing in my mind right now is that we don't have regional pricing, at least for Brazil.

In the end is a super good foundation for a game, but the problems really hurt some people, don't think it deserves a mostly negative review, if we have the option it's really neutral/meh right now, i will not ask for refound, i believe in the project so far.

A real well made remake with upgrades coming from feedback, kinda rare but that it is, masterpiece.

Just why?

Very grindy game with a lot of unique mechanics that make the game fresh, every character has it's own set of skills and way to play it's worth the money
