This is a top notch metroidvania. It can be challenging but it's not hollow knight levels of difficult. It's in my top 10 MVs for sure.

I think this is pretty great MV. If you like blasphemous you'll have no problem jumping into this game.

This game is so freaking good. I love exploring the bite sized maps. I love how there's a few different ways to overcome obstacles and enemies. I absolutely love the huge number of save points. I love opening new sections of the hubworld and finding new NPCs and powerups.

If you like MV's and can appreciate a slightly different take on the world being divided up into smaller maps that are connected to the hubworld instead on continuous connected map this game might be one of the best MV's you ever played.
The world seems huge. I don't think I'm even half way through the game and still have one party member to recruit. I've had to return to each map I've completed prior and find new things once I've acquired new skills or just found secrets that I've missed the first time through.

The few criticisms that I have are minute but for reviews sake I'll list them.

I don't really like needing to find a map. I would like it if you automapped the the places you explored and could reference them before finding the map. Once you find the area's map it reveals the whole area. I have found the map in every area I've played so far so it's not a deal breaker.

I would like it if jumping was a little floatier and for some reason double jump doesn't trigger sometimes when I expect it to. I've fiddled around with it and still can't pinpoint why it happens. The insane amount of savepoints makes this practically a non-issue.

To the dev(s) you should be proud of this game.

This is a really well made Zelda-like. I'm having a great time and suspect I'm only 60% of the way through it. If you like 16-bit top down games this is a great one. My only critique is they decided to go with a GBA display type ratio and the rooms feel a little cramped compared to the size of the characters and enemies.

Not as amazing as I expected it to be but pretty solid ubisoft-style open world adventure. Kind of got bored by the end and it could've used more variety. The game is pretty easy once you figure out the stances and get some powerups. It would have been nice to have a final main quest warning because I would have completed the map before completing the quest. I didn't really feel like doing it afterwards. I wish I would've waited and gotten it cheaper. 7/10

It's a little rough around the edges but all in all a decent game with cool lore and world. Looking forward to a sequel. Solid 8/10 with a lot of potential.

Got this game for $3.74. It's pretty decent for that price point. I wouldn't recommend at full price. Zelda clone with plenty to explore. Controls aren't as crisp but the easy difficulty keeps it from being frustrating. I only died once but had a rez flower and it just restored me.

Physics seem pretty darn good and the Williams collection has many of the machines I grew up with in the 90's and early 00's. They play a lot like I remember them. I can't say much about the other games made specifically for FX since I'm only interested in actual tables. A couple small gripes like no diagnostic access and the need to watch the entire match animation just to be kicked into a menu to then start on a reset table is an odd choice. I would like to seem more machines from other developers like Stern, Data East, Sega, Spooky, Jersey Jack etc. I'm sure licensing is tough though.
