Despite not being the most well-received entry in the series, the more I play it, the more I enjoy many aspects of the game. There are some controversial systems (Gambits & License Board), but the game doesn't punish the player for not diving deep into either. I feel that FF12 is one of the best games for newcomers to the franchise.
