this is one of those games that makes you enjoy video games again
if you’ve felt yourself stagnating lately (and even if you haven’t) it’s worth your time

they actually did it this time

some of the stuff in there is good on paper but this completely broke the game, new survivors feel undertuned and it's rough around the edges
needed more time

update may 2025: they fixed it

incredible visuals and audio with good combat, only things that i would say could be iffy on a person-to-person basis are opinions on the aggressive ambiguity of a lot of things in the game and the achievement design (i enjoyed the actual story but did not have fun trying to chain hundreds of dashes for a truly humbling amount of time before giving up)

definitely play if you can deal with not having your hand held (and can resist compulsion to try to 100%)
