The original Strand type game

Game has a really cool feature where it allows you to play offline but doing so won't keep your progress and the game doesn't notify you of this. Awesome! Sweet! All hail 2024! Thank you for this feature as I can now go back to my F2P Chinese and Korean slop

You know games with so much cosmetic DLC and battle passes and stuff somehow always have the worst menus on the planet. Its almost as if they are designed by AI so that you don't spend money on anything.

But to my original point, PC gaming platforms are cool because in the future they can remove content, shut down access to single player content, and introduce DRM which basically as a consumer means you have no rights to your software.

So this gets a thumbs down from me, whilst I plug in my Street Fighter Zero arcade board that is still going after almost 30 years. I would say you had a good run Capcom but really it wasn't.

Play this game criminal scum!

Just play Vermintide 1 or 2. Now I'd remove the negative review if this had offline as half the time I can't play this game. But even then Vermintide 1 and 2 are better.

Also Vermintide 2 has offline on console, sooooooooooooooooooo Fatshark. What is the deal with these PC releases.

Game does a good job of replicating the old feel of the games of the era. Perhaps its the heavy work of the engine, but there does seem to be some excellent design going on. It's not all perfect though as some of the enemy placement and some of the bosses can make things quite tedious. But in a way it makes it feel rather authentic to its contemporaries as what build engine game didn't suffer from similar issues?

Diamond the Unbreakable the game likes to lock up my system still during cutscenes. 10/10

So as a big fan of the "originals" (in reality the second and third games Crusaders and its pseudo prequel/expac Heroes) its nice to see a sort of return to that style. However it is mired in quite a bit of MMO muck. The MMO muck isn't necessarily bad per say, but it doesn't really add to the experience. And given this games history of server closures I would have to give this a meek recommendation in the now just because in the future you may not be able to (easily) play it any more. And the old school KUF stuff is still quite cool.

Personally one of my favorite games of all time and I would say is the best game released in 2012. Played the hell out of it off and on, originally on PC in 2013 then later on 360 and PS3 for comparisons. Decided to go back to it again recently and oh man.

The social club does not want me to log in. Did it purge all my passwords? Was I suppose to buy GTA 5 three times instead of this?

This gets a DRM out of Ten

Maybe next time I try to install this on a rig Rockstar will allow me to play it.
