Built on the RPG Maker XP engine, this short adventure RPG absolutely blew me away when I was finished. There aren't any battles, as mentioned by many - instead, you must explore and solve some relatively simple puzzles to progress in the story. Aside from the music, the story itself is easily the best part about the game; it was quite touching indeed. As well, there's quite a bit of humour, which really helps to differentiate between the two "realms" in the game. I hope you like cheesy jokes, because they're everywhere! There are also a couple of free "minisodes" that you can download, with the last one, in particular, leaving you craving for the sequel.

All in all, a solid, well-written game. (Oh yeah, and for those Steam achievement junkies out there, the game only has 1 achievement, which you get for completing the game)

Anyone who enjoys open-world sandbox games such as Minecraft or Starbound will enjoy this game. After a two-year hiatus from the break, I came back not expecting much. I was wrong. The game has managed to captivate me once again. The best part about Terraria is the surprises that await you every time you venture off - whether it be a rare item drop that you didn't even know exist, or finding a chest with goodies.

This game, like many others, is best played with friends. Tag teaming to kill bosses and making progress in your world is the way to go. Overall, it's a great time killer for any casual gamer out there who just wants to unwind after a hard day.
