Am I biased towards this game as a Filipino? A bit. Did some of the themes of this story hit way close to home and give me more personal engagement and cause me to cry a lot? Absolutely. Despite that, though, this game is genuinely worth your time. A carefully crafted story about love, grieving, and the human condition, with some time-flavored mystery sprinkled throughout.

Sometimes you can get lost in all the sci-fi quantum theory jargon, but I found myself very easily suspending my disbelief. There're moments where the emotional beats can come off as too much or almost unreal (which I personally feel is par for the course with YA fiction), but when this game times those moments perfectly with the right amount of feeling, it absolutely hits you. The minigames are short, but always managed to keep me engaged. I could go on and on about how much I love the music and the expressiveness behind some of these tracks, but all that really needs to be said is "piano good :)".

The lack of understanding of Filipino culture and references that some players might have doesn't impede at all with the overall storytelling of the game, and you are very quickly sucked into the lives of these characters as you find beauty in the mundane. Highly recommend checking out the demo of this game at bare minimum.
