It's a bit sad to say but after about 4 years of playing, I cannot recommend this game, as fun as it may look. It has quite possibly the worst, tone deaf, ignorant, incompetent development team for any game at the top of their genre. Every update makes the game worse, either with game breaking bugs, inexplicable balance changes, or both, usually both.

But don't worry, look out for the next Stranger Things chapter where you can give us 10 bucks to play new buggy dog**** characters.

Yeah the game is good. I mean there's not much actual game, but its fun while it lasts and story and characters are good. So yeah games good.

The setting, the mechs, the sound design are all awesome. Unfortunately, feels janky, controls are a little frustrating, doesn't feel good to play.

They really weren't lying about 150 hours of gameplay.

This game simultaneously got me into RTS games, Warhammer fantasy, and Miniature collecting and painting. So this game makes me spend £7 every few months for Lord packs and also too much money on supplies for tabletop gaming, now I'm homeless and penniless and all i have show for it is a pile of grey plastic and 400 hours in this game.

Conclusion: Pretty good. You should get it.

Bonus spoiler bit:

Rats, rats, they're the rats
They prey at night, they stalk at night
They're the rats
Skrolk's the giant rat that makes all of the rules
Just see what kind of trouble they can get themselves into.

This game was a lovely little gem. Something that I didn't know about the game going into it for the first time was that there are actually choices that effect the ending, these choices are not just throw away choices either. There were so many times where I accidentally did something horrible and greusome without knowing that I could have done otherwise. The artwork in this game compliments the world that it is set in perfectly. All the characters were dark and all the assets of a scene, wether they be big centre pieces or small details, all looked like they were ripped straight out of hell or a nightmare. The story wasn't the best and to be honest I could see a twist from a mile off, nonetheless it was kind of interesting and hey I'm a simple guy with simple needs and a simple story suits me well. If I have missed some complex plot point that makes it the best plot ever, I'm sorry. The puzzles were good if samey, at the worst of times frustrating where the clue is on a piece of torn paper that blends into the background of a dark room (just an example), thank god for the notes. The music has a sort of grainy texture to it that fit the artwork and the wrold well, though the credit music at the end caught me off guard. The combination of music art and characters drew me into the world the game created and made me feel like I was in pergatory, that's kind of a spoiler .

I have only finished this game once but I am on my way to doing multiple times just to get all the achievements.
Conclusion- If you like Dark souls but you don't like the gameplay of Dark Souls at all and you just like the universe, go pick this one up. It's a little short but its worth the £9 you spend on it anyway.

Oh and ♥♥♥♥ rats, seriously don't trust 'em
