As a diehard Resident Evil fan from an early age onwards I can definitely recommend this game to other diehard fans.
As a zombie shooter fan I can definitely recommend this game.
As someone who expected a remake of the original Resident Evil 3 in the style of the Resident Evil 2 remake I unfortunately cannot recommend this game.

This game on its own is a nice third person shooter with zombies, survivial elements and a well voiced story.
But this game cut so much content from the original RE3 that I simply cannot see this being this being the "definitive" version of RE3.
Sure, it is definitely better voiced, visually stunning thanks to the RE Engine and the gameplay is good nonetheless there is no excuse for Capcom to cut areas and bosses out of an already short game and take away player choices which made RE3 unique compared to the other installments.

It feels rushed and incomplete, those who played the original RE3 will be heavily disappointed when they see how much of the original game has been cut.

For 20-30 USD/Euro it is definitely worth the 4-6 hours the story takes to complete but as a fully fledged triple A 60 USD/Euro title it is not worth your money.

Also the fact you cannot buy the standalone Resident Evil: Resistance game is a stupid concept.
It should be included to owners of RE3 to make up for the short story but there should also be an option to buy Resistance on its own for maybe 10-15 USD/Euro.

I still recommend the game due to the fact it would be a success if it didn't have the Resident Evil IP in its title but as a long awaited remake of one of the best Resident Evil installments it just feels like a huge letdown.

Capcom, please add the cut out content of the original RE3 as a free DLC.

Let's hope the RE1 or RE4 remake will be better than this.

I’ll just quote this:”I think we did a pretty good job so far.”

And no, I don’t mean this sarcastically, I actually enjoy the game immensely.

It’s awesome, the balance is on point despite some survivor mains saying killers need a nerf and some killer mains saying survivors need a nerf.

Also, I’d like to mention the bugs since most reviews do so, I don’t mind them at all, sure, sometimes you’ll be frustrated by random glitches happening but most of them are quite funny and very minor to say the least.

I also have to give major props to the devs for staying in touch with the community and actually listening to us, probably also a reason why this game has such a big Steam community at over 20k active players!

To conclude my low-quality review, it’s a fun game, it has its faults and mistakes but I can gladly look past them as this game is fun as both killer and survivor (especially with friends!) and the mere fact the devs reach out to different companies trying to seek those licenses solely for fan service is something you’ll rarely see from smaller game companies other than triple A ones.

I’d give the game at its current state a solid 7.5/10 and it’s definitely worth the 19,99€/$19,99.

For the DLC’s wait till they’re 30% to 50% off if you’re greedy even though some of them are definitely worth the regular price tag.

Have fun slashing and being slashed and hopefully I’ll see you in the realm of the entity.

I have no words to describe how amazing this game was.
Never before did I feel so touched and yet so distanced at the same time.
It is truely a one of a kind expierence and definitely worth picking up.

I would highly recommend to buy and play The Stanley Parable before starting The Beginner's Guide.

10/10

But it is worth mentioning that this game is not for everyone, if you are looking for a game that takes you through an adventure of discovering someone's mind and inner conflicts then go ahead and buy it it is worth every cent of your precious money.

B.) PC upgraden

Von mir gibt's einen Daumen nach oben und ich hoffe doch sehr dass rocksteady nächstes Jahr mit einem weiteren Batman Spiel zurückkehrt.
