After two generations, a true Battlefield has finally arrived. It’s been a full ten years since Battlefield 1, and EA has finally brought back that old spirit. Every penny spent on this one feels worth it.

The multiplayer is absolutely phenomenal, chaotic, dynamic, and packed with that classic Battlefield vibe. But if you’re considering buying it for the campaign, honestly, don’t. The story mode feels tacked on; once you finish it, the game practically SCREAMS, “UNINSTALL ME.”

When it comes to weapons, vehicle combat, map design, and atmosphere… this is where DICE truly shines. It’s been a long time since Battlefield 1

Overall, it’s a 9 out of 10. There are flaws, sure, but the experience more than makes up for them. And if future seasons add new maps and content like Season 1 did, this game won’t be dethroned anytime soon.

After all these years, we finally have a game that makes you say, “Now this is Battlefield.”

At first, you feel a bit curious, you start playing, and you’re like, ‘Okay, this is good, it’s going well.’ Then you hit a point where you enter a dungeon or a mine, clear out the goblins whether you do it stealthily or go in guns blazing, EITHER WAY IT’S ♥♥♥♥. Then you grab some scroll, finish the quest, and the same NPC gives you another quest where you do the exact same thing again. TAKE QUEST – CLEAR DUNGEON – GET SOME ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PIECE OF PAPER – WALK THROUGH THE WHOLE DAMN MINE AND LEAVE – THEN REPEAT THE SAME DAMN THING A MILLION TIMES. SCREW YOUR MAIN STORY, IT’S NOT EVEN FUN ANYMORE.

Whoever said ‘OOH WE NEED TO PUT GOLD INTO THE GAME.’ — I want to enter their life like the SLAYER and perform a glory kill.

Anyway, now that I’ve spent 17 hours with the game and hit 100% completion, about the game:

The one thing that feels totally unfamiliar – both for us and for the Slayer – is definitely the storytelling. In the previous games, whenever some story bit came up, the Slayer would just jump straight into action, get pissed off at the guy talking, maybe smash the screen – or we’d just read the codex entries to catch up. There are codex entries in this one too, but barely any compared to the last game.

Also, there’s just... something missing in this game. I still can’t tell what it is, but it feels like a part of it is just not there. On top of that, you can pretty much beat the whole game using just one weapon. That really kills the variety. In the previous one, if you had a new weapon, you needed to use it on certain demons or else they were really tough to take down. Now? You can just run through with the shotgun, not even needing the double-barrel, mowing everything down – and I didn’t even run out of ammo. Eternal kinda became like that at some point, but in this one, I legit never ran out, even during the last boss fight I was stuck on.

It feels like they tried to focus on the game, but also didn’t – it’s got this weird vibe like it's unsure of what it wants to be.

That said, the parry system is actually sick. Once you combine a few combos with it, you can one-shot a bunch of enemies.

About the music, in my opinion, a few tracks are nice, but SOME ARE REALLY BAD—so bad that at one point I muted the game and played old OSTs instead. I just wish they had put in a bit more effort. I get that Mick's not involved anymore, fine, but even the music selection for the action scenes is just off. Like, if you swapped a couple of tracks around, they’d fit perfectly.

Anyway, it’s still DOOM. At least you still get to RIP AND TEAR, HELL YEAHHHH.

IRL, automation, electricity and electronics didn't satisfy me, so when I submitted my CV here, they accepted me right away. Thanks Satisfactory.

You're bringing freedom and democracy to the galaxy, you're even teaching SONY a lesson in this war.

F1... like a cocaine, you want to break free from it but just can't. You know you'll watch dominated seasons, boring races, and questionable FIA decisions, but you're already addicted to it, you see... Same for games too...

NOTE: This guy has been addicted since 2015, still hasn't found a solution for it..

Better than Cyberpunk's main story and missions.

The only disadvantage is that you can't make love to Idris Elba 😋😍😈
