Very creative, well executed. Had me glued to the screen.

Unfortunately spoiled it for myself but still very fun to try and get all the way through, especially with no visitors

6.5/10 - Doesn't feel like space. Feels like an array of menus.

I want to enjoy this game, and in many ways I have, but this game also falls short in a lot of areas and made a few unfortunate design choices that have really hampered the experience for me.

One of the biggest issues is the "exploration" where you just use menus to jump around planets and systems to go to your objectives. This does so much to take me out of the game for so many reasons. 1. watching the same launch/dock cutscene over and over again has me reaching for my phone or alt tabbing instead of what should be a fun way of me engaging with the world via flying my ship. This menu form of travelling also prevents any form of world or universe cohesion, and I get it that its space but it doesnt even feel like space, it feels like menus. Other RPGs have concrete tangible worlds where part of the joy is exploring the map and seeing whats out there in the world, but in this game you never get that satisfaction and you just jump from mission to mission via menus. The combat is ok, but hardly anything special. Often laggy, and I did experience a LOT of visual and gameplay bugs

The writing and dialogue is what you would expect from a bethesda title and thats its saving grace, but to be honest I find the story really weak. Some guy just GIVES you his ship and now you're the chosen one.... As far as space RPGs, I think no-man sky does it better just because you can actually fly around and travel and that experience makes you feel like in space.

I wish this game was good and I wish my 70$ was well spent but I dont really feel that way, tbh I feel bad for the suckers who paid $100

hard to recommend at 60$. The writing is funny are there are some great moments but the enemies and the locations all look the same. I had to force myself to shoot the same baddies in the same location just to get to the next joke.
30$ definitely buy. Maybe at 40. Can't recommend at 60
