Started in Season 5, quit right before reaching 1000hrs due to the massive bugs that were introduced each update. Then I found out that they completely changed the direction and story of the game as of January 2026. It's not the same game at all and it's ridiculous how many bugs go ignored.

Almost all of the store items are AI generated. The loot crates cost both kidneys along with your arms and legs. You shouldn't expect anything different other than a gooner skin game at this point. It's literally The Sims with skins whereas before it was actually a really cool horror apocalyptic type deal. The reporting system is AI managed as well, which means there's a chance to get banned or suspended if someone does a false report on you.

If you had the pleasure to play the game prior to these changes, then consider yourself lucky. If you put the game down since then or are a new player, don't bother picking it up at this point.

Kudos to the new players and OGs that still play and enjoy it, I just don't care for this anymore after the huge change in direction. It was amazing prior to the 4th quarter year of 2025.

Short review as I've only played 2 hours so far but the audio is mind blowing. The graphics are phenomal for VR and the story is compelling. This is what gaming in 2020 should look like: incorporating audio and video to enhance the game experience. For example, the whispering. It is everywhere, it even sounds like it's in your head. the game is surreal with how alone the world feels but it only makes you want to push further.

Do yourself a favour this year: get this game.

I almost lost my job because of how much fun I have playing this game. 10/10 awesome game, just remember to check the time every now and then.

Could only play for an hour before almost ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ my pants. The atmosphere is incredibly eerie as well as the environment in which you must navigate.

If you want a game that'll scare you, not hold your hand at all, and have a compelling story then I'd give this a try. 10/10 would recommend.
