Honestly I dont know what all the distaste for the game is about. theres a couple bugs but nothing major and the game is fun as hell

I really, REALLY, wanted to love this but I just...don't. Nothing feels like it matters at all, and the gameplay just isnt there enough to hold it. its beautiful for sure, but after just 3 hours im already just utterly bored wit hit as a whole. The AI is clumsy and the only real challenge comes from monsters with either tons of health (I.E. a fight that just relies on you getting bored enough to make a mistake) or the camera kills you because it goes haywire. I was told maybe it was the weapon I started out with, and switching a few times did make it better, but then I just fell back into stagnation regardless. It might be fun for a lot of people out there, and that's great for them, but its not anyhting like what I was told it would be.

The only bad thing is that there isnt any more content being released. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Fantastic game.
look at the hours of the people who put negative reviews, they either just didnt enjoy the gameplay (not an indicator of a bad game, just of your preference) or they didnt experience enough to give a fair assessment. Play the game, dying isnt losing, giving up is.

the game is fun to the point where i stopped playing before i beat it so that it wouldnt be over yet. story isnt really cannonical but its about as good as you'll get at this point.

as someone who has consistantly disliked linear gameplay and first person shooters. i love this game and its sequel. they are the only fps's that ive actually finished and had fun in. truly awesome
