Early Access Review
I've been through various new games up to this point in free play, and I can tell you this: be conservative in the beginning of your first playthrough, 1 assembly line, a handful of employees, and research your next new vehicle asap (1 researcher though), then you should actually be able to see the money start rolling in, and make desired investments

If you like GR: Wildlands, this is highly recommendable! :)
Is some of the game hidden behind a pay-wall? Yes..
Does it cost a lot to create a game like this? YES!
If you desire as much content as possible, for as low cost as possible, buy the game on sale (like me, I got the 120 euro ultimate package for 18 euro)

The mini frontloader barely clears the top of the mini washplant for one (and doesn't clear it at all when unloading), and secondly, however great a concept the frontloader is, it's just as broken as its big brother, when it comes to actually dig into the dirt and get a decent payload in one go.
Maybe it's just incapable, because the mini's are vastly underpowered.
The excavator is nice - steers like ♥♥♥♥, but nice, barely carries a load in the bucked though.

The only great thing is the mini drill, which performs to an A+ in its capacity - underpowered like the rest, but all things considered, the biggest challenge for it is a steep hill, which at the same rate, even the big machines have trouble with.

I will only recommend this, because of the mini drill

Generally, I would indeed recommend the game.
At around 85 houres, I started on the last (and biggest) currently available ship.

I've had fun, I'm still having fun, but at times this game feels like it's still an early release.
1 fix caused bugs, another fix to correct said bugs causes completely other bugs.
I will not call the game broken, but it definitely needs more "love" to be considered a full release, and I didn't see an early "alpha" or "beta" release warning when I bought this, so the above issues should definitely be taken into consideration when buying it.
I haven't played SGS1, so I cannot compare - but again, I would not consider SGS2 an actual full release at this time, given that 1 patch or hotpatch breaks something else, until the next patch which breaks something new.

If a "simple" train sim is something for you, this is it, just remember that it's not really user friendly (and not something for me).
Quick tip, ins/del switches reverse (gear), up and down arrows changes power to drive (furthest up is full brake, furthest down is full power).
Any other keys, press TAB while in the train to figure it out, there is no main menu options keybind list to guide you - only TAB to show a full list of keys while in the train (which i figured out, after writing notes on most of the damn keys)

At certain points, the game is still a bit rough around the edges, and AI do seem to love getting in your way at times.
Granted, it's essentially a demo, and can't expect something perfect - but for what it is currently demonstrating, I'm looking forward to the full release

On a positive note, about what I'd expect from the screenshots and video on the store page, and description.
Handling is a bit rough, but no such thing as changing mouse sensivity and other minor things expected from a shooter.
There is also no main menu options button, and the options menu in a mission doesn't provide the ability to change volume either.
No save game, so if you experience a fatal error (game crash) like me, you must redo the mission (chosen in main menu).
Speaking of which, i made it 45 minutes into the game, and had a fatal error - i repeated from the start of that mission, and had a fatal error in the exact same place again.

Free or not free, i can't recommend this game if it's broken halfway.

Edit: A dev reached out to fix the error, and i provided information related to it, as well as where the error occured - maybe a patch will appear at some point, so i can review the game once more

Hot damn, kinda ♥♥♥♥ controls to be honest, and the scan for objects is trash imho.
0.1 hours play time is enough for me, no thanks to this

Tutorial mission is fine, it gets the point across - first "real" mission is doable, and easy too.
The real problems begin on the third mission, when you start placing inventory (ie. beds, shelves etc.), and want them removed again with the destruction ability to place them better - oh, too bad, items is now permanently red and cannot be removed, or interacted with again.
Oh, and how do you move around on a 2x2 square that is supposed to have 10 pieces of walls (for mission requirement), but the outer walls only cover 8 of them, and doors doesn't exist?
Too bad if you also built partial walls beforehand, as well as the roof and ladder - you can't carry any building materials down the ladder once completed, so if you aren't done, you better destroy something.
I could probably add more, but i already feel like i said plenty.
At least the office equipment upgrades panel makes building and shovelling a whole lot easiere, only real positive thing i want to add right now.

This demo/prologue doesn't bode well, if this is the limited version of the "complete product".
